Best grocery store ever. Epic sandwiches (try the "MIGUELITO" as-is). Mgmt and workers are usually extremely helpful and nice. Once they brought a box of pasta to me as a favor after closing time since I didn't have a vehicle at the time. Also AMAZING hot / Prepared-Food Options. Everything from BEEF Ribs that literally fall [Completely-Off] the bone, to a very fine version of PAELLA, & even a Super-rare, {though-not-under-cooked at all} Super-Rare PRIME RIB ROAST good for entrees or Sandwiches. Professional bakers & French Desert MAkers on staff.

I love this place. Delicious sandwiches and when you go during the holidays, it's overflowing with all kinds of treats. It's on the pricier side, but they have great selections.

When buying products from golden hog I highly suggest doing a thorough look at the expiration dates. Not sure why when I went in to buy a pasta sauce I noticed half of the bottles on the inventory are 6 months past the expiration date. Not to mention the prices here are incredibly high, make sure you get products that aren't expired. Also worth going to windixie for simple things like kombucha or produce, as a kombucha is $3.59 at WD and nearly 7 dollars for the same brand at Golden Hog.

I love this place. I'd been looking for a good gourmet market for awhile and was very excited when I visited the Golden Hog for the first time today. Surprisingly, it is a one stop shop for pretty much anything you'd need. I think it's rare to find gourmet grocery stores that carry everything, but this one seemed to. They have a great selection of cheese, meats, mustards, artisan jams and honeys, wine, and olives - most of which are from European brands. They have so many European snacks, cookies, candies, and cooking and baking ingredients. They also have a vast selection of fresh produce as well as what looked to be fresh pastries - however I'm not sure if they're made in house or sourced elsewhere. There is a fresh fish counter as well, which I was excited to see. I was looking for fresh bread, but unless I missed it, I didn't see anything special. They do carry typical brands, like Dave's Killer Bread, but if you're looking for a freshly baked loaf, you'd probably want to rely on a nearby bakery. I didn't try any of their made to order food because I didn't stop in around a meal time, but I plan to in the future. They have a few tables to sit at if you choose to dine in. It is reasonably priced relative to what you'd find at other grocers, but this market is much higher quality. The more expensive products are unique European imports, so it's understandable. The employees were extremely kind - the cheesemonger gave us a sample and a thorough explanation of some cheeses. Overall, shopping here was a lovely experience.

You know when they say what went wrong? Well, almost everything was wrong with this place. It started with me going into the driveway the wrong way. Thanks to the nasty guy in the golf cart by showing me how much of an idiot I was. Did many 3 point turns to get into gear and find the correct entrance. If you are claustrophobic, you are in for a treat. The place is packed. I felt so out of place that my Target T-shirt and my Walmart jeans weren't good enough for the high end dressed clientele. If you like to be pushed around, again this is the place for you. No one says excuse me. They push you out of the way. The only person who treated me like I wasn't chopped liver was the cheese monger. When my daughter and I left, again, you do not get the right of way when backing out of your spot. The entitled BMW moron about hit my backside because he thought he had the right of way. Oh, wait a minute. Maybe I was in the wrong for coming here to begin with.

What an amazing gourmet food shop! We stopped in here and were impressed with all the items we just can't get in a regular grocery store: sauces, meats, chocolates, etc. Lots of fresh produce as well, plus nice deli, bakery, and meat/seafood counters. There's a great selection of wine, and there's a salad/hot foods bar for lunch/dinner. You wouldn't go here for routine items, like paper goods, but for stocking the pantry and fridge it's an awesome place.

This place is the best; it’s cute and packed with gourmet goodies! Plus, it’s conveniently located. I live walking there to get an early morning coffee or juice. Follow @eatwelladventureoften on tiktok for more recs.

The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I did not get to try their food. But I am definitely going to go back to do so! The place is very welcoming and has a nice vibe. After some friends raged about their alfajores, I knew I had to go buy some. I have a huge sweet tooth and let me just say these are incredible. They crumble in your mouth, aren't too sweet, and are mini! They make for the perfect bite to satisfy a sweet craving. The alfajores definitely get 5 stars!! Can't wait to go back to update my review once I try their menu.

Amazing selection of delicatessen. Prices are excessively expensive. The cashiers are typically very nice. The rest of employees walk around with nasty faces just like they hate their jobs. Nasty people.

The store carries many items. Butcher counter had some really nice cuts of meat. The pasta area had so many types it was hard to choose. The dining area smelled excellent and food options. Worth a visit for sure!

Golden Hog is a KB icon. A high end Deli/Market for all your gourmet, quality food needs. You can find a lot of stuff here that may not necessarily be at your big name grocery store. This place is good to visit, even if only for window shopping. Highly recommend their sandwiches though, especially the golden hog. The pork with onions is truly out of this world good!! The cheese section is not to be missed with lots of international gems. Enjoy with a wine or two! :)
