The staff here is completely rude, unwilling to help and incompetent.
I tried booking my passport appointment online and after a few days I realized I never got my confirmation email. I stopped by in-person and asked the woman at the counter if she could check for my appointment (because I had not received a confirmation). She said she didn’t have access to that list or system and said walk-ins were between 11-2.
I returned on the day that my appointment was set for and reminded her of our conversation. At this point she tells me “if you don’t have a confirmation, you don’t have an appointment” - why couldn’t this have been her statement when I came in 2 weeks ago?
Then I politely asked her to check today’s appointment list to see if it went through, she says she does not have access. Some other male employee from 2 stations over YELLS about how I’m supposed to CONFIRM THE CONFIRMATION ONLINE(?!) and that I did it wrong. I ask AGAIN if they could check for my name on the appointment list. I was rudely interrupted by this man unnecessarily repeating himself, not letting me get a word out. I asked ONCE MORE. He then barks at the woman to check the list for my name - the list that had been sitting on her desk the entire time. Right in front of her. She proceeds to advise my appointment wasn’t set and that there was no guarantee I would be seen. This really could have been resolved when I came in the first time.
My brain is fried. I simply can’t wrap my head around this whole interaction. This was infuriating and extremely avoidable. Terrible service.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience at this post office while trying to get a passport for my son. We arrived at 9:55 a.m. for our 10:00 a.m. appointment, waited in line behind two people being helped, and were then told our appointment was canceled because we didn’t arrive 10 minutes early. The employee we dealt with was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.
When I explained we arrived based on the posted opening hours, she talked down to me and told us to step aside and “wait patiently.” We waited 20 minutes in an empty post office with no one helping us, and when I followed up, I was accused of lying. The whole experience felt personal and unnecessarily hostile.
Extremely disappointing service—especially when dealing with something as important as a passport.

First time visiting this po. Walked into this po after leaving the one n 88th n 147th due to the line almost out the door with only two people behind the counter and was so pleasantly surprised. Walk up service, and a friendly young lady actually greeted me and took care of my transaction so gladly. I was shocked. Thank you for being courteous. I wish all post offices were like this one.

Worst Postal Office in the county. I was there for a passport appointment. I was on time and the mailman did not want to do his job saying I was late for the appointment. I told him to look at the cameras which it will confirmed I was on time and he refused to do anything. I believe that if the USPS was private This wouldn’t have occurred. I have attached a picture of the mailman but again I am sure the post office won’t do anything about it

Not sure why this location has so many negative reviews. If you have a passport appointment and arrive prepared and on time, you won’t have any issues. During my last visit, (Ruben assisted efficiently and professionally) I was in & out in ten minutes.

Negative Review: USPS Expedited Passport Service – Pathetic and Unreliable
I had one of the worst experiences using USPS’s expedited service for a passport application. I mailed the application on April 8th, and instead of it being delivered quickly as promised, it was mishandled and missent to Colorado Springs and Denver before finally arriving at the Passport Agency on April 18th — a full 10 days later.
This was supposed to be an expedited service, and I paid extra for timely delivery. USPS completely failed to deliver on that. The delay was due to their internal routing mistake, not anything on my part.
All I got in response was a generic apology from the local post office — no real accountability, no compensation, nothing. This is absolutely pathetic service, especially for something as important as a passport.
I strongly advise against using USPS for anything time-sensitive. Their service was not just slow — it was careless, unprofessional, and totally unreliable. Never again.

Fast and very friendly service (above and beyond). I even got really good food recommendations in the Plaza! Short wait, service with a smile, and great experience!!!

The guy that works there with the long hair and glasses has a very nasty attitude. Maybe he’s not a morning person but they shouldn’t really have someone working front desk and giving people attitude so early in the morning… definitely has to work on customer service..

Which could give them a 0 stars. We went with our disabled daughter for a passport and the people that works their are very rude. We waited for a Long time after speaking to the receptionist who told us to wait and at 330 they told us we had to leave because they simply could not see us. Hoerrible experience

WORST OF THE WORST OF THE WORST. I was in line for a passport renewal and complained about not being called after I had an appointment and waited for 30 minutes. the MANAGER came out and asked me to leave since I didn't want to wait and then started screaming at me. HORRIBLE service. Very RUDE and unprofessional staff and they didn't speak any English either.

If I could give this people 0 starts I would. First time I went and asked for information they all talked to me like if they didn’t wanted to. Finally after waiting a whole month for my appointment I got there 10 minimum earlier and the guy at the counter instead of welcome me said I was too early. He later told me that my 1 year old needed to be here even though he didn’t mentioned the first time I went. I told him I could go get him since I lived close and he said “don’t bother” . I didn’t get his name but he looked White hispanic with semi-long hair. I told him to do his job and help a client and he started screaming that I was harassing him. People in the store wouldn’t even acknowledge him. Don’t go there, unfortunately, they don’t want to do their job like many people nowadays . Sad!!!!!
