Last April, I purchased cigars, cutters and a Xikar lighter. Back in Europe where I reside, over time the lighter begun to show problems to the point of no longer working. So, I call and email the Xikar headquarter in Weston. Mr. José (the person who assisted me), assured that the issue would have been solved. Unfortunately, after the first phone call and two emails, he no longer gave signs of life. Mistakenly I thought Mr. José was part of the Neptune cigars team, which of course made me even more disappointed considering the interesting amount of money spent overall (over $500). After having wrote a negative review of the store, I was contacted by Mr. Adam Stewart of Neptune Customer Service, which after clarifying to me that Mr. José was not related whatsoever to the store, took great attention in solving the issue with the lighter. Inspite of me being in Europe he followed up continually giving me advices on how to try to make it function. However this, didn't happened. So, he issued me a voucher with no expiration date with the same amount paid for the lighter that I'll have the possibility to use, once back in Miami.
Mr. Adam, thx again for having kept the American customer service tradition at its highest standard and please, address my apologies to the team of Neptune store in Pinecrest.
Mr. José of Xikar in Weston instead, can go to hell!

We don’t have many big cigar shops in the south Dade area but this one is tops! Huge selections, reasonable prices and staff knows the product line. Glad they moved from the Dadeland location as the parking situation there was terrible. This new site has plenty of parking in a strip shopping center and easy to get & out off off US-1.

Unfortunately run by young cigar nerds who’d rather loiter and smoke at a discount than actually work. Some of the staff hangs around chit-chatting with regulars while you wait at the register. Then they gossip about those same customers they were speaking to as soon as they leave. Other reviewers have mentioned this. (I must adjust my review and go up to 3 stars due to the service provided by the manager, Rene. He takes the time to help you find what you’re looking for instead of pushing stock. This is good salesmanship and it’s always appreciated.)
