Come into the bank looking to open an account and I was told to make appointment for another day or go to another branch and see if anyone available. Because they too busy and have no time for me. This is by far the worst service ever from a bank

This branch makes me actually look forward to complete automation as the folks take little to no interest in the customer. I stopped at the branch to use the drive through ATM for a small withdrawal but kept getting a declined message. Finally I parked and went inside. I mentioned the issue to 2 employees who seemed puzzled by the problem and one said they could check my account. I made the cash withdrawal with no problem. At no point did anyone say "I'm sorry that the ATM didn't work." Or, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience." It wasn't a big deal really, since I wasn't in a rush, but isn't it still customary to at least apologize for the equipment not working. Instead, I got the vague impression that the problem may have been my account, which was far from the truth. Just common courtesy. That's all you'd expect.

I have been trying to make an appointment to open a small business banking account with PNC for a month, I called first and gave my info and was told to expect a call back, that call never happened.I called back a few weeks later and scheduled another appointment, was told that I would receive an email confirming same. I never received an email but got a voicemail saying to call Betty the banking person. I called Betty, she is always busy, gave my name and contact a few times and received no callback. The day of my appointment, I called yet again, before time to advise that I am running late and the rep put me on hold…..I arrive for my appointment to hear that my appointment was scheduled for the past Friday( I scheduled the appointment for today, Monday at 2pm because I am off on Mondays and Tuesdays, why would I make an appointment for a time that I can’t come?) They mixed up the appointment day/time, didn’t text, call or email a confirmation, but when I walked in, I was told that I couldn’t not open the account to begin with. Lol, thank you for wasting my time PNC Bank Abacoa Branch.

Needed to talk to a real person about a current account. More than could be done in the drive-thru. Door locked but looked at an employee sitting at her desk. Would not move. Went home and called the 1-888-PNC-BANK number. Waited for over 20 minutes and gave up on a real person answering. I understand the COVID19 issues but businesses need to find better ways to serve their customers or the customers will leave.

My family has had an account with PNC since their First National Bank of Pittsburgh days in the 1860s. I've had the privilege of enjoying their banking services all of my life and have traveled quite extensively. I can say in all honesty, that aside from my family's home branch on Walnut Street in Philadelphia, the Abacoa Branch instills in me that same feeling of familiarity and friendliness. The entire staff greets me by name when I enter and are always so engaging, professional and polite. I can not recommend this Location and it's staff enough. Very well done, PNC. You've created the best Branch location in Palm Beach County.
