When my daughter first started going there at the age of 3, this place was amazing! We were treated like family and the communication with parents was phenomenal. The teachers were awesome, and my daughter had the best VPK and aftercare experiences. However, ever since the recent change in ownership and the loss of their 2 incredible managers, MJ and Stephanie, it has been very disappointing. My daughter is now 7, and we just stopped going there. They no longer do right by the parents, there is a huge lack of communication, and we got no good-bye or thank you for entrusting us with your child for the past 4 years!

I don't know how they don't have more reviews because they are running truly the best pre school in the area ! We drive 30 mins to send our daughter here. We are absolutely thrilled with their director, Diana... Communication is key for me and there is never a lack of daily information about our 3.5 year old and how she's doing how she ate how she napped etc. this is huge for us as parents. Another thing they're amazing at is understanding that this is the first time our daughter is away from us and she's a sensitive toddler so whenever she is sad from missing us they console her immediately and always let us know. Her teacher, Miss Lisa is so caring and the entire class is over the moon for her. When she enters the room they get so excited and all of the kids are so well behaved and well spoken. I've heard so many horror stories of schools and daycares just ignoring a crying child and the staff here does the opposite. They all work together to give these kids the best experience in learning and having fun. We get a full report of how her day went and feel so fortunate to have found Oceanside Academy through another friend in the baseball world. We can't say thank you enough for an amazing place for our daughter to learn grow and most importantly have fun!

Oceanside Academy feels like an extension of our family at this point! We have all three of our children currently enrolled there. The staff go out of their way to make each of my children feel seen, appreciated and excited about the day. MJ is the most incredible director - she is honest, pragmatic and helpful. You really feel like she has the backs of her parents. The same with Diana, the assistant director. She really takes the time to get to know your values as a parent in order to ensure that they are honoring your wishes as best they can during the school day. They have always made me feel heard and validated and I greatly appreciate that as a parent. The facility itself is very clean and organized. They go all out for decorations around the holidays, which is a nice touch for kids and families alike to walk into each day. And since they recently came under new ownership, they recently underwent some pretty great renovations, including new flooring. We love Oceanside and are so grateful to call it our daycare.

The classrooms are well kept and very clean! The teachers are very attentive and engaging with all of the kids. My one year old is so attached to her teachers as it is such a fun and safe learning environment. My son who is on the spectrum has made major strides as his teachers have been so patient and caring. This is our second family!

Oceanside Academy has been wonderful with my 2yo son. They noticed he had a problem pocketing his food when he first started attending the school. They provided literature on the subject and recommend he see a speech therapist through our pediatrician. We attended therapy and now is doing wonderful with his food issues. He is excelling in the classroom environment as well. They truly show love for all the children. I am grateful I found Oceanside where he is happy, loved, and learning.I toured eight preschools before finding Oceanside Academy! Best decision i made!

We have had our son in Oceanside Academy for almost two years now and have continually been extremely impressed by the entire staff. When looking for a school filled with Teachers and Administrators who really care, look no further. They have been extremely attentive, they truly care about these kids and their development. Additionally, they have so many programs for the kids to participate in, and a playground that's about 5x as big as any that I've seen in the area. It's a great value and we highly recommend to anyone looking for a great school!

We continue to be blown away by the team at Oceanside. We’ve had our run of bad daycares in Jupiter and Oceanside has become not just a trusted place to leave our children but the team there has become family. We feel so blessed to have MJ, Diana and Stephanie at the helm. Also, the teachers (Ms Michelle and Ms Victoria and plenty others) are THE very best at providing the perfect balance of love and discipline. Don’t think twice about registering at Oceanside! It’s amazing!

I cannot say enough good things about this preschool/daycare. I first learned about it because both my niece and nephew attended here. Little did I truly know until my own daughter came here just how fortunate we were. I did not have to worry about her because I always knew she was in good hands, and she learned SO MUCH!! They have been such a family to us, that I still have her go there for daycare even though she is in grade school now. We do not want to part with them! They are Wonderful!! Love you, Oceanside!!

Review from a preschool teacher perspective.I enrolled my daughter (2 yo) in the "whales" room.1. My poor review is due to the pressure i felt when inquiring about the open spots available. Director pressed there were other people waiting behind me to fill spot.2. unprofessional. while signing paperwork and getting ready to enroll my 2yo, i overheard a teacher scold a 3yo like they were 6 years old. "SITTT DOWNNN NOWW" (with pressing lips and overpowering and intimidating body language).I felt sad for the child... i dont intimidate like that to my own daughter.3. SPEECH disorder. my daughter was diagnosed with speech disorder (different than speech delay) and i expressed my concerns about disciplining when 2yo children throw fits/tantrums. The director assured me the teacher would provide love, care, and REDIRECTION. (this is key). Definitely no support whatsoever for for learning differences between my daughter.4. i ended up enrolling my daughter and by the 4th day i kept receiving the summary sheets indicating "fussy." so... The 4th day... i decided to look through the window and witnessed the WHALES room teacher completely leaving my child in despair, inconsolable for 30 minutes. i saw my daughter tried reaching up for a hug and the teacher completely walked by ignoring her. The teacher even went to the back room to check her cellphone while my 2yo followed her and tried getting another hug. NOPE. the teacher did not give compassion NOR REDIRECTION. she was only there for a paycheck. my daughter kept following her for some kind of comfort and thats when the teacher said "ENOUGH!" of course i went back to the directors and explained what i just saw through the window. the director mentioned the teacher could be having a "bad day" and after talking to her it would be a "learning lesson" for the teacher. The director admitted the teacher did not practice a "smooth transaction" and would learn from the incident. most people will say "its normal for them to cry." yes i know that... i was a preschool teacher once... it is NOT NORMAL for a teacher ignore the basic rule of "redirection" and comfort for a 2YO.5. the room smelled like chemicals.6. ratio size is maxed out. i believe there were 12 kids total in her room with 2 teachers. clearly helping my daughter thrive was harder with so many kids in the room.7. i would find soiled diaper not changed when i picked her up. this means the teacher(s) not really attentive.8. safety: they have cameras in the room for director to see only. No sound and not accessible to parents.Overall: my gut feeling always told me NO about this place. i would NOT recommend unless your child is used to being away from mom/dad from young age. teacher really had no understanding that children with speech disorders have a harder time communicating; thus, getting more frustrated quicker. WHALES room teacher (for 2yo) showed how quickly she gets frustrated when not able to de-escalate (she chose to ignore and scold).

If you’re ok with having your child picked up by the arm and pulled across the classroom then Oceanside is your place. I was waiting to leave until my son stopped crying and during that time I watched one of the teachers pick up a child by her arm. Two year old class.

Oceanside Academy has bee nothing but great for our family. My daughter really enjoys going to school and you can tell she is loved by all. From the moment you walk in, she is greeted by everyone by name. My daughter started there at 3 months and I couldn't have felt more comfortable. Oceanside has been our family for the past 2 years and I would recommend it to anyone.

My daughter and family love Oceanside. It’s so heartwarming to see all staff (not just your child’s teacher) know and greet your child by name. Dropping your babies off to people you don’t really know is scary and Oceanside has been so loving and caring helping mommy and daughter adjust. The knowledge by daughter has gained academically and socially is amazing. Kudos to Oceanside!
