I did a load with them last week and everything went very well, they paid me for Zelle before I unloaded the trailer. Besides, they gave me the option to download on the weekend.
The process was pretty good and simple!!

This company agreed and contracted to pick up item within 1 week. Demanded more money than contracted amount, claiming a different trailer would be required (it was not). Picked up item about 5 weeks later. Claimed falsely that it was result of me asking them to not pick up and omitting to mention important details. I had to pay over $1K for airfare, storage fees, car rental etc. and spent 5 days in vain waiting on the load to arrive. Company did not follow agreed upon 2 simple loading conditions, despite being reminded 3 times and repeatedly promising to do so, which greatly complicated the unloading and caused alot of damage to the load. When driver came with the load, the dispatcher kept calling and pestering driver to hurry up and unload (it took under an hour to unload). As a result, the driver pestered the crew, did not cooperate with unloading procedures either, driver ordered crew around and as a result the aforementioned, the item was damaged during unloading. Also the driver impacted unloading vehicle with the trailer pretty hard while turning, apparently being in a hurry. Thankfully only paint was ripped off of the unloading vehicle since it is pretty heavy-duty.

I’m a carrier myself. I did a load back in April and haven’t got paid yet. Accounting never picks up even if you leave a voicemail…
It seems like they are great at picking up loads and covering them for customers but they don’t pay the carriers unfortunately.

Hauled 2 dozers for them out of FL to PA on 04/05/24 , have yet to receive payment. Can not get anyone on the phone in the payables department. Email conversations have not seemed to move anything further. Carriers beware.

They don't pay!! They dodge you and transfer you to accounts receivables...they never answer the phone. The broker told my driver he didn't care whether or not he was paid, didn't even care if the load was delivered and that we could drop it off on the side of the road if we wanted to. So beware shippers and drivers. This company is not trustworthy on either end. File on their bond immediately if they owe you!

I highly recommend North American Heavy Haul. Their customer service is second to none. Phillip provides us with excellent feedback and rates. They are Vander Haag's go-to logistics company for picking up running and non-running heavy equipment.

Finished a load with them April 1st. Have been leaving messages to their accounting dept for a month about being paid. To this day May 3rd, still have not had a return call or payment or any acknowledgements. Talked to their broker side to which I just get sent to accounting to leave a voicemail. I do not recommend them as a carrier.

I used these guys to transport a tractor to Pennsylvania. The whole thing was easy simple and quick. Great communication with constant updates. Highly recommend for your shipping needs!

North American Heavy Haul helped my fiance and I get our RV transported from GA back to our residence in PA. They stayed in constant communication with updates about the status of our order. Loved how efficient they were. Definitely will use them again if I ever need anything shipped and would recommend to anybody needing something shipped!!!
