I would have never imagined that someone could actually cause a not for profit donations center to get a 1 star for services.
Cleaning out a storages unit for the rich and famous.
They wanted to discord these things. I felt bad because even though I would have taken them all, I had no space and felt uneasy to just discard these items when I know for a fact they were in great condition.
Long story short
Got a uhaul truck load of high cost chairs, bed cabinets, glass, pop corm maker, lights, cameras, and a whole lot of other missolenious items.
So I searched for goodwill closest to me, pulled up hop of truck to ask the ladies that was there a question. Before I could say anything, she yelled from the otherwise of donations "wait your turn," i had no idea she was talking to me, so I kept walking toward them. She yelled again, and I was trying to ask her a question as far as what they accepted. She yelled again.
(This old Witch) just lost free money for the company because of her stupid attitude. Next time, please put people that are atlease approachable at the donations drop off. I will try another, not for profit. If not, then discard these items like I was told to do instead of trying to give them to someone who could use it or make money from them.

One thing you can count on is an employee giving you an attitude while you are here. Many store employees will make up ridiculous rules to annoy you. But for a real riot try to donate something to the obese rude guy in the back. Literally wouldn't take donations. And don't forget everyone this place is FOR PROFIT don't let them fool you by hiring disabled people. Pu lix does this too

No good deed goes unpunished!! I will never donate to this organization again. RUDE, psychotic workers basically barking ridiculous orders at me as I am trying to donate items. No charity is worth poor behavior.

Drop off was a breeze. I hope the items I left there will go to people who will really love them.

I'm assuming donations are low because they didn't have much on the furniture section.

Wouldn't accept a lightly used $1,000 plus sectional sofa. I will never donate anything to Goodwill again. Such a terrible company. Now the couch is going in the trash when someone could have used it. There are for-profit company all they care about is making money.

Extremly rude lady at drop off. She had a horrible attitude that i had a lot of stuff to drop off. Everything was organized and all in bags. She kept sighing and rolling her eyes. It's a shame considering they were getting great donations. Take your donations elsewhere where they're appreciated!

Time and again I’ve encountered rude employees at the drop off area. This has happened several times over the past couple of years. The last straw was today when I parked and walked up attempting to donate some clothes. I was ordered to wait in my vehicle and drive up. Okay loud aggressive lady with the Covid mask, I won’t be donating any more to this location, I’ll drive to the Northlake location instead.

Tried donating 2 bags of shoes and clothes today. It was refused for not being good enough. I find it hard to believe there are no families who could benefit. Really sad they turn away donations. I guess I have to find another organization who really wants to help.
