All well intended people here. This facility does a lot of great work.I do wish the triage process for emergent calls had a better process in place for follow up. It seems like there needs to be more of a collaborative communication to ensure the best outcome possible. I wonder if the calls are documented and a process followed for facilitating a plan based on the circumstance. Was waiting for a follow up by two different staff and there never was one. I wish there was a way for calls to be collaborated with a wildlife vet.I have no idea of the credentials of who I was speaking with and in the end, I was not given the best advice for a turtle. It must be assumed that the public knows nothing about ? turtles.True guidance and plan for promotion of the best outcome comes from the assessment and also clarifying misconceptions and consideration of the totality of the circumstances and health status of the turtle ? There should be criteria for which the caller is made aware that the turtle MUST be seen to determine treatment and best location for the turtle post treatment. Unfortunately, emergency situations happen after hours and just prior to closing. I understand wildlife rescue is very demanding. While I cannot say that the staff was dismissive of my concerns, I do feel like the condition of the turtle which the staff was aware of should have been regarded with higher urgency. The assessment of the trained wildlife staff takes precedence over the assessment of a person not trained and all advice/ suggestions should be given based on this.Despite not being given the best advice for the best outcome and not much of a follow up, I appreciate the efforts and that someone answered the phone. Thank you for being willing to accept the turtle the next day .Thank you

Great new location for this worthy cause. Family friendly and easy to access and walk through. The bears and panther are always a favorite. Local volunteers are very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the facilities. Don't forget to make a generous donation as part of your admission!

Seeing the new Busch sanctuary was one of the saddest moments of my year. I’m grateful to have been able to enjoy the old one for so long. It always made me feel good to see all those animals in such a perfect place. Absolute tragedy to see their new homes looks like a Costa Rican zoo now. At least there are really good people there that know how to take care of animals. But the facility is a real shame.

If you are looking for a family friendly place to see some amazing animals, go check this place out! They have a brand new facility that houses many different species of rescued animals. We got to go on a VIP tour that we learned so much all the animals. I would suggest calling to arrange one. All their donations go right back to the animals.Playground: Brand new playground that is greatRestrooms: They have very clean restrooms and have multiple throughout the sanctuary.Picnic area: There is a picnic area next to the playground.

I was met with a wonderful woman explaining what they do there. You receive a map and on your way you go. It’s very educational here. I love ❤️ it. They have a ton of animals and birds to see. Definitely I will be back.

Beautiful centre! Brand new, outdoor wildlife rehabilitation sanctuary. I saw animals that I've never seen before.Pro's: lots of parking. Lots of washrooms. Friendly greeter at entrance who explains what they are, what they do, and how they are funded. Which leads to the entrance fee: it's donation-based. Please, don't be a jerk, and donate fairly. We were 5 adults; we donated $50 but in retrospect, I feel like I should have donated more to support this centre. This centre is educational, and provides some hands-on experiences for kids (indoors). There is an amphitheater with daily events/educational talk which has shade and washrooms. There was a winding path with animals on each side, and sectioned. I felt we observed each station a lot longer than usual because there were many different species living together in their area. Kids really enjoyed the snake building. So many different species to check out.Con's: you don't know any history of the animals you're observing. You don't know if some are being rehabilitated or which ones live there, permanently. I missed the scheduled time for the amphitheater; there's only 1/day.We spent about 40 minutes there. I did notice a play scape being constructed, so that would be fun for the kids and would stretch out the visit to a 60-90min outing; perfect. We will definitely return.

We had a great time at the opening last weekend. Was very busy and I don’t think the staff were ready for that kind of turnout. That said, it’s a great small sanctuary to explore Florida wildlife up close. We will be back for sure.

Cute little place where they help local wildlife for rehabilitation. They had a small variety of animals to look at and some beautiful owls! I love how natural the exhibits looked because of the property they were on. Lots of shade which was nice on this hot day. The kids will love it here! My favorite were the deer. So cute and loving! No entrance fee but they do accept donations. I had no problem giving some cash knowing it will go to the animals. Parking was free as well. Come check them out!

Great experience. Took family (and toddler). No tickets required, just make a donation of your choice. Good variety of animals. Decent size. They provided a free educational show where they brought out several animals and taught the audience about the animals and the work that the sanctuary does. You get to walk through a variety of different outdoor environments.Only downside is if you go when it rained in the last few days, the paths can be very muddy. Can be tough to move around in a stroller if you have a toddler (made it work though).Tip: wear shoes that you don’t mind getting dirtyFun experience for the family. Would recommend.

Great place to enjoy FL nature and see some local species up close. Plenty of staff available for education and direction who genuinely care for the animals and were clearly passionate about wildlife rescue. Their location is moving to Jupiter Farms in Fall 2023.

A great place to stop if you are driving on the way to or from Orlando to Miami. Here they rehabilitated and care for wildlife animals that cannot be released back into the wild quite yet, due to certain conditions. So many beautiful birds and animals here, even bears! The staff is very informational and there is no cost for entry but donations are highly recommend.

Lots of interesting wildlife and well maintained grounds. Lots of covered areas if it’s wet weather. We brought a picnic and had a great afternoon. We’ll be back for animal encounters or story time!

Busch Wildlife is a place to take yourself and your guests to visit. They do a lot of great work with animal rehabilitation. Those animals that can no longer live in the wild are cared for and used as a great educational tool for all ages. We go several times a year in a morning, before it gets too hot in the day. Our guests always enjoy it. Currently the center is preparing to move to an area by Jupiter Farms around 9/2023.
