BEWARE!!! Dropped off a pair of Tommy Bahama shorts. Picked them up, didn’t check when got home. Went to wear after a couple months and noticed that they were ruined with some kind of liquid. When they cleaned, hung and wrapped them, they were clearly damaged and they didn’t say a word when I picked them up. Where they clipped the safety pins to hang on hanger, you could see the damage. The weren’t the most a customer friendly when I went back. Make sure you check your clothes when you pick up.

Hometown cleaners has earned my business for the rest of my life. I totally messed up and didn’t realize they closed at 3 o’clock on Saturday. I called Brent in a panic and he went out of his way to come back and get my clothes so that I could go out of town to a conference the next day. He didn’t have to do that and went well above the normal service that could be expected. Please give them your business. They will take care of you.

Have been bringing my dry cleaning here for 15 years. Just had my first issue, with a linen shirt that was stained after cleaning. Hometown Cleaners stood by their work. Reputable company with owners who do the right thing by their customers.

The blonde lady at the front desk was so rude I couldn't even leave my several bundles of dry cleaning suits and one alteration. I left after she told me -- you could have told me you were a new client. Ok -- see you later.

Cleaners / Alterations Looking for a place close to Abacoa to drop my shirts for laundering, I came across the Abacoa Hometown Cleaners. There are essentially two halves to the business: the laundry side and the alterations side. The laundry side is pretty much what you would expect: shirts (in my case primarily) are dropped and you get them cleaned and returned in a few days all pressed and on a hanger. They are a full service operation and can also clean any other garments you have. Also needing pants hemmed, I have used their alterations side a few times now. Same process: bring in the item, they measure you up and you get your garments back in a few days. The ladies working there are always friendly and the garments come back clean or altered correctly. Prices are average for this type of service. Overall a quick and efficient process. Parking in front.

One year I went to pick up some Jeans for someone, I said the name and she asks me a question I had no clue about since I never had to take my clothes to a dry cleaning place. I remember she mentioned something being in another list and she was so nasty about it. I don't even know what the heck her problem was? I'm sorry I didn't know what list it was in it, I'm just there to pick up Jeans for crying out loud. But anyway, I had a bad thought and reminded me of this experience. Whoever the lady was there, probably a family member, owner, who knows. She was very rude.

Google states they are open till 6:30pm, and per the photgraph below their website says they are open till 6:30pm. I parked in front of their store at 6:07pm, the "Open" sign lit behind the counter, multiple people inside, and the one of the employees literally locked the door as i was walking the 15ft from the parking lot to the front door.

While I think that dry cleaning has become very expensive, home town cleaners is always polite friendly accommodating. I go out of my way by several miles to use their services.

I would give this establishment six stars if I could the service is excellent. Wanda takes good care of all her customers things are always the way they're supposed to be and I couldn't say enough positive about this place.

NEVER AGAIN! This place was terrible! I took in a suede jacket on Dec. 21. They couldn't tell me how much it would be because they had to "send it out" to a professional leather cleaner. Promised it by Jan. 4. On Fri. Jan. 4 at noon I went in, they said it hadn't come yet but that they should have it by the end of the day. I waited until Monday before taking a special trip to go get it, because we were leaving on a trip on Wed. and wanted to take it with me. Still not there. No clue when to expect it. The worst part was that when I tried to get more information, they treated me like dirt, like I was a nuisance and shouldn't be bothering them! We finally picked it up February 1, and the cost was $55+!! Almost as much as I had paid for the jacket in the first place! I will NEVER go back to this horrible place, and strongly urge others to find someplace else for their dry-cleaning. Terrible customer service, terrible attitude!!
