This place has disappointed me time and time again at really important moments. The biggest problem is that they are frequently closed at hours when they say they should be open. The place closes at 9pm on week days but they’re closed in the middle of the day. It’s not just once every know and then. It’s ALL THE TIME. It happens several times a week, several weeks a month. Sure it’s “family owned” and good on you for that. But a pharmacy isn’t the type of establishment that you can just take off because “something came up”. If you just sold chips and candy that would be 100% okay. But people need to PICK UP MEDS. People have important packages waiting in the amazon locker that they HAVE TO PICK UP but can’t because all the workers in the pharmacy left by 5 when it says it should be open until 9. And if it’s a Friday just forget about it.Fool me once shame on you. Fool me two and three and four and five and six times … shame on me for expecting something better. I wish owners with higher standards ran the place because it’s an awesome location and the potential is being wasted by these guys.

To anyone reading this, see the other reviews contained on this listing...nearly every time, the owner has a smart aleck response when a customer takes issue with this "business".To the owner: Take your business elsewhere where the people don't care about the hours.

Tried to use this place as an Amazon hub. The hours on the door and on google are incorrect. Showed up on Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 9:40am. Sign on the door read closed and door was locked. My Amazon package is going to be returned to Amazon now because I can’t pick up package in Amazon’s time frame since store is closed.

I asked the guy working at the front desk if they were a compounding pharmacy he said "Oh, no, ... no" like he didn't understand the question and just said no without actually knowing. Well, on the front of the store and on the website it says they ARE a compounding pharmacy. If you're hiring people to work there and they don't know something this basic, they shouldn't be working there. I live 5 minutes from here and instead had to go all the way to Deerfield to get my compounding script filled.Edit: If you don't compound then maybe don't have it on the front of your building.

Couple days in a row, these geniuses are closed during advertised business hours. Can’t pick up Amazon package. Will be reporting such pathetic management to Amazon so they can place their lockers elsewhere.

My daughter went in after school with friends to get a drink which cost $.99 ($1.06 with tax). She had a $5 bill. The young man working said he had no change so my daughter ended up giving him the $5 for the drink. She called me because she felt bad. What kind of retail outfit takes a child's money at 5 times the amount and doesn't think twice about it? No offer to buy more items. No thought to go next door and ask for change to make sure the register was properly stocked. The only redeeming action that happened was when I called to address this and asked if I came in if I could give him the proper amount and get my $5 back. I HAD TO ASK. Seriously? He apologized and said he never had to deal with this before. Common sense? When I spoke to the kids they said it has happened before with others. This is absolutely unacceptable. It's stealing from kids.

The store is almost always closed they mainly have snacks and not that much pharmacy stuff and the store doesn’t allow too many people and doesn’t allow bags so if you leave your bags outside you risk them getting stolen and it’s a pain to get but the person working there is nice

Great little pharmacy/bodega I love the new girl up front..she works nights and she's the sweetest little thing. Always smiling, making jokes with me. Will keep coming back ?

Highly incompetent and horrible customer service. They were contacted by my doctor's office to fulfill an order for medical supplies on a Wednesday. Never heard from them. Called my Dr.'s office on the following Monday and they, A&R, then calls me Monday afternoon. I go over all the information with their representative, name, number, address, insurance information . Told me they'll call back. Got called back and told everything was good and should receive later that day or the next. Didn't receive anything, call on Wednesday.... THEY CANNOT FIND ME IN THEIR SYSTEM! None of my information comes up. Transferred to Chris in shipping. He asks if I am (gives me name of my doctor) I explain no that is my Dr. and provide my information. Informs me he will get back to me with a tracking number. Voicemail the next day with a tracking number and package to be delivered that day. Well package arrives addressed to my doctor with my address. Items are incorrect and some missing. Call to report incorrect items and leave a voicemail message.... call is never returned. I call back the next day and told I am not in their system. Finally, I speak with Greg, a supposedly Customer Service Supervisor, who decides to argue with me that they fulfilled the Dr.'s order and there is nothing they can do about it. Yet, cannot explain why the CSR I spoke with and went over all the information with including insurance, and who even called me back, did not have my name in the system and magically now they do not accept my insurance? Now I have to pay to return their items because of their INCOMPETENT OPERATIONS! If your provider suggests using them... RUN!!!Can't post w/o at least 1 star :(

I have had all good experience here but the one complaint I have and I have spoke to most employees, they only keep 100 style cigarettes in stock. Who does that. Learn to order shorts please.

Can never get a hold of anyone to cancel orders that were never ordered by a Doctor. Meds keep getting sent and insurance keeps getting billed. FRAUDSIn response to your response. I am not the patient. But I am the providers office manager. I have denied rx request from your pharmacy, yet the patients still get the medication and their insurances are still billed. Which in my opinion is medicare fraud. And I have tried to call five times just today, to the same number you have provided. I am very sorry you do not see any problems with this situation. Let me add these patients are elderly. Why take advantage of them.

My dog Athena has been on and off multiple medications for seizures in the past three years. It has been extremely difficult. I used to wait in line at Wallgreens for 20 minutes just to get to the counter.. or on hold for long periods of time just to speak to someone. Finally, I decided to try something different. I transferred all of her medications to a local compounding pharmacy. It has been the best decision I’ve made. It’s extremely convenient having her meds delivered with my busy schedule!! Also, since Nawaf the pharmacist has compounded her meds she has not had a seizure in the past month. THIS IS HUGE. With Wallgreens you feel like you are just some number... with A&R you feel like family. I highly recommend A&R pharmacy.

I live right above this pharmacy and have always loved the convinience of their small grocery store being right in my basement. The staff is friendly and helpful every time.

The best neighborhood pharmacy. They give you all sorts of options that work with your insurance and not just the cheapest generic available. And the front of the pharmacy carries everything from snacks to school supplies to good quality wine!
