WOW!! All I can say is two thumbs up. The center is so inviting and every employee (or volunteer?) was simply amazing. I recommend finding Hal as he was the highlight of our day. His love for sharing his knowledge of Turtles was worth the hour drive for my family. Even on a rainy, windy, cold day, we had an amazing time learning about Turtles. We went for our daughter but stayed for us:-)

What a great place to learn about Florida’s Loggerhead turtles! Fun, informative tour. The staff was amazing and their passion for the LMC’s mission shines in all they do. The gift shop was fantastic with a large variety of options.

We really enjoyed our visit to the loggerhead marine life center. They are non profit and free to enter. Anyone who would like to donate there are options to donate. There were 12 turtles patients and going thru treatments. We experienced turtle feeding and enjoyed learning about their habitat. Not just kids but adults can also learn more at this center if you like turtles.

Recently I took a drive up to loggerhead with some friends and it was so great! I had a very relaxing day. There’s a couple small things to see, aquariums with bioluminescent jellyfish, but the turtle rehabilitation areas are the main attraction. The beach is also close which I wish I could’ve gotten to that day, as it was so hot outside. We talked to the front desk workers for a while and they were fantastic! Very helpful. Overall, this would be a great place if you want something fun to do, want to look at turtles, or a kids day out. Free entry!

Love this place! Such great conservation and education environmental programs and standards! Truly a cool experience - & it is free!!! Definitely a great place to give donations to since what they do to rehabilitate and teach is phenomenal. The interactive screens are so much fun - especially building your own fish!!! Did I mention the awesome stuff in the gift shop? Another great stop on your way out.

This place is probably one of my favorites. They offer FREE admission for the whole family and rely on donations and volunteers. We came during August (so it was hot) but they have a little shop that sold Popsicles (organic ones as well) and drinks. We got to see the rescued Sea turtles including many babies as well. They also had a really cool section (in A/C) with some other fish and jellyfish tanks as well as an interactive screen where you could choose a marine life animal-color/paint it- and cast it onto the screen so your creation can swim around. Later that night I did pay extra to be able to watch a Sea Turtle release. This was only for people 10 years or older. It was well organized and I learned a lot. The staff/volunteers truly enjoy their job and it shows.

I love this place. Although it's not big, it was still a great experience to see and listen to all the stories of the sea turtles they helped save and recover on site. Kids will love this place but also adults if you love marine turtles as much as I do. They also have small exhibits of fish and even jellyfish which was cool. I highly recommend if you are in the area to check this place out!

This was a wonderful place. They pick up injured sea turtles & hatchlings that didn't make it to the water. They diagnose the problem, get them well & return them home. If the turtles can't be returned to the sea, the fund permanent homes for them. The staff is so nice & provide great info about what they do & each turtle they have. This is a great place to go!! Great for kids & adults. It's free to go in but I put a $20 in jar to help Sea Turtles.

This is such a wonderful place!! Admission is donation accepting. When you walk in your greeted with a huge turtle skeleton hanging from the ceiling and an aquarium below to your right. To the left is the gift shop. Once you walk through to outside, is where the fun begins. You get to see giant sea turle in rehabilitation to be re released. We did get to see some baby turtles getting a Dr. Check up and it was adorable. Following the walk path it leads you to a Cafe and lounge, which we didn't go into. There's another entrance to where some jellyfish and other fish are as well in a dim lit room.It was just my husband and I and we both had alot of fun!

Fantastic place to take your kids for some fun learning and activity. Really enjoyed learning about turtles and reading about how they take care of them. They have a fun interactive drawing on the screen where you can send the fish you drew to the big computer generated screen in front of you. Entrance is by donation and they also have a gift shop with tons of cute items to purchase.

This was a great experience. It isn't very big but it is a great place to learn about Sea Turtles and learn how the center rehabilitates them. There are few aquariums with sharks and jelly fish. The is no entrance fee, but they do ask for donations. It also has the best gift shop. If you like Sea Turtles. They have the largest selection on Sea Turtles merchandise. From clothes. Jewelry and kids toys.

FREE. They have turtles, sharks, fish, jelly fish and sea horses! When you walk in you can stop at the front desk and they will give you a quick overview. As you walk through the doors, you see individual pools for the turtles. They have volunteers who can tell you about each turtles rehabilitation story. When we went there were 3 total. Make sure you go inside to see the jelly fish and sea horses. There is also a great gift shop!Parking - ample free parking. We ended up in a lot just a short walk from the entrance.

Loggerhead is an ocean lover's paradise. I have visited many times to see the turtles and hear their rehabilitation stories. This was the first morning I took a yoga class on their sky deck and it was truly amazing. The view of the ocean and the sunrise made for a picture perfect morning. I also saw the turtle tanks from up above and all the sea creatures were so active in the morning. Can't wait to go back and see what's new as the renovations continue.
