There's trash all over the place on this lot, I'm greeted by it blowing by me on the sidewalk as I walk past an employee on her smoke break. Then when leaving I notice the landscaping filled with trash and what do ya know...cigarette butts. This is a nice area, they should clean this lot up.

I had sign up for a free one time FreeStyle Libre2 sensor for continuous glucose monitoring. After filling out applications. I was approved by FreeStyle to go to Walgreens with my printed out instructions. 11/27/21 around noon I spoke to a older lady. I give her all my information for the script. The one thing I could not give here was an ID number. Her English was a little hard to understand so I gave her a copy of my email. Still everyone there made me feel that I was wasting there time. After going back and forth she finally decide to read the email instructions which lead her to call a 800 number only to tell me that I needed to call them. I called FreeStyle customer service and they called the pharmacy. They spoke to another lady and were able to fix everything with the same instruction I gave them. They were almost going to hand me the sensor only to ask me if I have the meter reader. I told her I downloaded an app for my IPhone as a meter to communicate with the sensor. They said nope and took the sensor back. Frustrated cause I been here 45 minutes and I had my 16 month grandson. I ask how much is the meter? 80 dollars. Fine I will pay for the meter. Pharmacy said they needed a script for the meter too and could not just sell it to me. (Then why tell me the price I thought to myself) I left the building with nothing...... After getting something to eat. I get home and call FreeStyle again. FreeStyle called the pharmacy and try to speak to lady with very bad English with no success. She pass the phone to someone else. At this time FreeStyle made it very clear that this call was being recorded and identified himself. He explained, no meter was needed. So now I get to drive back again to pickup this sensor that suppose to change my life. I feel the staff should be trained that not every situation will follow the norm. I can see the communication break down at so many levels. End the end you can not train someone to CARE.

Well it’s the holidays again and Walgreens did not fill my prescription for a controlled substance at 4:00 the day before my fill date. This is the third and final time I will have to suffer because of them. The usual pharmacist that would have filled the script of course isn’t there and they have two young people that are not pharmacists filling the scripts. They claim my doctor said not to fill the script until the day after Xmas. That being the case I will have to suffer in pain for an extra day and then get my script at 10:00 on Saturday. The last time they did this they didn’t have my script until late afternoon that day. By then I couldn’t even walk so I had someone pick it up for me. This is after my doctor said they called in to the pharmacy two days before and told them to dispense the script a day early, also after I spoke with the regular pharmacist and she said my script would be filled a day early. When I called on Xmas eve the automated system just says the script is being reviewed and to call back in an hour. I did that 4 times and got the same message. Finally I went up to get it and they gave me the runaround. Someone is lying to me. I realize that this type of script has caused issues for some, however, not for me. I have taken it as prescribed for years as directed and it works really well at managing my pain. To treat people like criminals and make them suffer is absolutely ridiculous and should be a criminal offense. A doctor should be responsible for managing a patients pain, not the pharmacy, or the DEA. You can’t paint everyone with a broad brush just because some people make bad mistakes. To allow people who are not pharmacists to be working the pharmacy should be illegal. Furthermore, the actual pharmacist should do their job and make sure instructions for dispensing are followed by the doctor. They should also treat their customers like customers and not the way they have treated me. We have always filled our scripts at Walgreens, but, because of their incompetence, lack of respect and compassion for their customers, mistakes they have made (I was given someone else’s pain medication 500 pills that I returned), personal vendettas towards pain patients like me, my family has switched to Publix pharmacy and will not even by a pack of gum at Walgreens. I have spoken to their corporate offices and they told me that my past experiences were ridiculous and will never happen again. Yeah right! The specific pharmacy is at 4420 Nw Federal Hwy Jensen Beach 34957. Don’t fill your scripts there. They simply don’t care, are liars, have personal vendettas and agendas, and should be held liable for them.
