“The rooms were clean and nice. Anything we wanted or needed was made available to us. Everyone was so easy to work with. We were coming in late, but they accommodated us easily. The Driftwood Motel reminds you of Florida years ago, but is just the most fun. Three groups from our family were there. We each had our own place. There are tables and chairs outside that made it easy and fun for us to be together. We had a great time!!! I highly recommend it.”

“Cottages are comfortable, clean, and in a great location. Staff is friendly and accommodating.Rooms: We rented a one bedroom cottage in a duplex. The cottage was roomy and comfortable. It had all the necessary amenities.”

“Great location close to causeway. Older facility with beachfront. 2 bedroom unit was large and comfortable with a large balcony. Maintenance seemed to be a low priority, noted numerous occupied units with screens blown out. Our unit cleanliness had a bit to be desired, mold in showers and bathtub. Floors very dirty, walked barefoot while unpacking and bottom of my feet were filthy. Ended up mopping all the floors to clean it somewhat. Master bath light switch was defective, patio light switch cover open to environment with electricity present. Only one elevator for facility. Pool area has good view of parking lot. No-see-um bar at pool is a warning of what's coming at dusk.”

“I have never felt this way about a hotel in my life. “Perfect Hidden Gem” everyone working here from Stephanie at the front desk to Charles and everyone behind the food services, I mean this place is unreal. I’ve stayed here about 7 or 8 times and everytime it’s the same.Breathtaking ocean views, hot tub/pool area is spotless. Whole place smells fresh and feels clean.Great opportunities for your business gatherings and at the same the warmest coziest place for a laid back beach vacation with the family, friends or whomever. This place does everything well.My daughter loves the free cookies everyday at 5pm lol. Even saw the spaceX launch the other night from the rooms balcony.Thank you so much to the folks at the Lucie! We’ll be back soon!”

“Super clean, very cute hotel. There are multiple places to work. The only issue I had was Internet connection late at night, but I think that was due to the weather.”

“I've been coming here for almost two decades. My family owns a timeshare. The the place has been well maintained & updated over the years. You have everything you need in the suite except the laundry is down the hall in the building closest to the beach. You are able to stream Netflix & connect your phone to the Bose system to enjoy your tunes. There are USB ports scattered throughout the room to charge your tech devices. There are several bbq's outside.Kids can stay active. Aside from the beach & pool you can borrow board games, play pool, pingpong etc. Cici at the front desk let us know about the board games otherwise we wouldn't have known they were available. Felicitous at the front desk was friendly & helpful too.If you are looking for a full service resort experience you'll be disappointed. If you don't mind buying your meals elsewhere, cooking for yourself or pouring your own drinks it's the right spot. There isn't much to buy onsite but plenty of surrounding places to find everything you need to stock your fridge. I've always rented a car when I visit so I've had no issues with being totally satisfied.”
