I have been going to The Islander Salon to see Melissa for 7 years and have always been happy with how she cut and styled my hair! They now have a fabulous boutique that you can always find something great without breaking the bank!!

The Islander atmosphere, owner, and stylists are all wonderful! My stylist is Christine.! She is pretty amazing. Always does exactly what I ask for!! I have friends who have been to her and other stylists and everyone is always so happy with whoever they have. I'm a snowbird and it's definitely the only place I will go to when I'm here. Brenda B

First visit to salon it came highly recommended to me and now I can highly recommend it to you! My hair was a project to take on, and I was nervous! But Melissa did her magic and it turned out exactly as I had hoped! Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere, they care about their clients!

I have been to this salon and absolutely adore it! The stylists are excellent. Donna, Christine , Kay & Kelley and LeeAnn are experts with short & long hair styling & cuts, color & highlights.. Luciana & Melissa are the owners running a friendly & inviting salon with shopping for gifts & lots of fun.

Luciana was able to schedule me on short notice. She is a great communicator, calling me back promptly with availability status.
Melissa the hairstylist did a great job cutting my hair and trimming my eyebrows. I would highly recommend Islander salon, Nice people and very professional. Kevin, snowbird from New Hampshire.

My visit to The Islander was awesome! I showed the stylist, Kelley, a picture of the color I was hoping for and when all done I was extremely happy! She was so sweet, giving me lots of advice on how to keep my hair color from turning gold. I will be a returning customer!!?

My elderly Mom needed a quick trim, and the stylists were very welcoming as we just walked in without an appointment. Kelly was more than happy to squeeze her in and did a lovely job. Cut her hair just the way she wanted it! Very happy with our experience!!

My partner and I just got back from having haircuts with Christine and are very happy! Christine did a super job, listened to what we wanted and was so polite and gracious. We will definitely be back. Remember, this is a salon that is open on Mondays and delivers a great hair cut!

Melissa is amazing, we talked the whole way through the process of creating exactly what I wanted. Her attention to detail was wonderful, and her caring demeanor made me feel confident that she was going to get it right, and she certainly did. I couldn’t be happier, I received so many compliments throughout the night celebrating our 50th anniversary.
I highly recommend Melissa, as well as the salon which has a warm inviting atmosphere making me feel totally comfortable. This salon is 30 mins from where I live and was well worth the drive. I will be back to see Melissa again for my next haircut

I can not say enough good things about this place. I use this salon on a regular bases for probably a year now. Recently, I had my hair done there for my wedding. Every one in that shop was so accommodating to myself and my maid of honor. Donna my hairstylist was so patient, so knowledgeable, so professional and extremely talented. My hair looked beautiful! I received so many compliments on my hair and it was perfect for the entire event!! Melissa, did my make up and I am very picky with make up. It was perfect for me ! I don’t usually use a lot of make up, just some lipstick, mascara, and a light moisturizer. I didn’t want it to look like an ordinary day of make up but, I didn’t want to have a ton of makeup on my face. Melissa did a fabulous job, which also lasted through the entire event . Melissa did my maid of honor’s hair, which turned out excellent and lasted through the event. I highly highly highly recommend the Islander salon, spa, and boutique!!!!!!! Thank you ladies

I’ve been seeing Leanne for cut/color for a couple of years now. She is outstanding! She has great attention to detail, and I feel that she really listens and partners with me. I had a great experience with Luciana washing my hair and Melissa with the cut and blow dry. Absolutely recommend if you want a true professional haircut and style with a relaxed vibe. I'm from NY & get my hair blown every week so I was so happy to find this salon while on vacation..I like my hair pin straight & Donna did my hair exactly how I like it !!! She did a fantastic job & she's fantastic..the owner Lucy is amazing..I honestly love it here !!! ☮️
