So I frequently go to this particular Winn-Dixie on University boulevard North and it's now called College Park. It's a really nice store very well situated. Some perks to this location it's centrally located so it's right off Arlington expressway you can go any direction of town, that's great! Also the parking lot is large, though the parking can be a little problematic. They don't have enough disabled parking spaces. In the few months that I've been going there the parking lot can get kind of snarled up too because people are going both ways. They may need to make it one way in and one way out that way there's no chance of a collision because of the tight situation going across to the front door. For the most part things are pretty good in the store. I am noticing two minor / possibly could be major things though. Communications. When you call the store you're never going to get anybody on the phone if you ask for a manager or customer service. It's hard to find somebody walking around the store to ask them questions. And I just recently had an event where I placed an order for one week and because of the weather had to retract it and asked it to be made for the following week. And I was assured that they were going to do it but to call first. I did . I called someone very nice from the meat department said he would assist and make sure they got the order and he would call and or text me back and leave it a message for me ( he couldn't get me because I was at work). Since I got no notification from him. I called after I got off from work to ensure that the order had been placed before I drove all the way over there. Unfortunately no one seemed to know what was going on it had not been done . This was really distressing as this specific item was requested for the party that I was going too. So now I'm completely left without another option. And everybody was gone and unable to do anything and since I needed the item for 8:00 the next morning what was I to do. While the representative was very apologetic she wanted to try to see if she could make it right, however she really didn't have the power to do so. So bottom line is the store is up and coming it could be better. I'm noticing that they seem to be very short staffed and the deli/ department bakery department right next to each other they do not seem to be able to communicate you can't call them, they don't answer the phone someone always has to go get someone from there. I've even been in the store several times and I saw that they leave the phone ringing they never answer the phone. Just an observation. That is the reason they only get three stars. Again they haven't been there that long so hopefully they will get enough manpower, the right kind of manpower who want to serve and not just be there for a job. Makes all the difference in the world. If they do and they're able to communicate with each other and with their customers this store could be amazing. Just my opinion. So much potential! It would be such a waste to not see it realized..

Best fresh chicken ever, it's Naturally Better because of the animal welfare, feeding them properly and taste is beyond all those other brands available.

This Winn-Dixie is nice. It's clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. They also have a great sushi chef who makes fresh sushi. She even makes veggie rolls which is awesome! They are always fresh, usually from that day and the people behind the counter are very friendly and great about adding special sauce if you ask. The store also has great prices for Wine and great selection. If you buy 4 or more bottles you get 10% off! I think if you go in on a Weds (check with the store) an employee told me you can get 20% off on a case of wine. Anyway, if interested call the store ahead of time and ask what day the sale is. That's a great deal. The store has some of the items I can't find at other bargain-groceries, so that's a perk too. They also usually have a good kosher section, or anyway have in the past. It's a winner in my book!

SE grocers have spent so much money trying to find an identity, Hit & Miss. The flagship store on Baymeadows started out with such great fan fair, and now, ho hum! University has a brand new look, gorgeous too! But SE has opted to be more like ALDI with non branded foods, ie SE brands. Again strike. The quality is less then favorable, I got Feta, and it tasted like, well nothing, cardboard ;(The staff is mediocre, luke warm greetings. If your at work, put your phone down, pay attention to the customer, smile, and say hello. PLEASE, Get it together, I would love to see them succeed, but I might have to shop up the street...

Winn-Dixie has evolved into a supermarket that I have no qualms shopping in. The stores are clean and the newer stores have aisles that help to easily find food. The Winn Dixie off University is actually having their grand opening this weekend, April 30, so there are prizes, cooking shows and of course you get to spin the wheel for items too. (I won a box of oatmeal and wooden spoon)The meats and veggies look fresh and the prices are competitive. I learned they have their own brand, SE Grocers, while watching the cooking demo and after tasting the food I had to buy it. I'm that person that believes if I use the same spices it will taste exactly like the chef's cookingIf you remember the WD from 15-20 years ago you need to visit the new and improved Winn Dixie stores, a totally different shopping experience.

I am not a huge fan of Winn-Dixie because of the location near me. That store is always dirty, nasty, and staff are never helpful. However I drove out of my way to come to this one and it was well worth it!! The store was clean and was well stocked but more over si am impressed with the customer service which was phenomenal. I have to do a huge shout out to sunshine who assisted me in finding something I needed. Rather than telling me she took me there and was most customer centered. Winn-Dixie should be very proud of the customer center this employee. I will continue To drive out of my way for this location!

Worst customer service ever! One star is generous. That's why most people drive past WD and go to Publix!

This Western Union says that it open at 7am, however the Winn Dixie that facilitates the business doesn't open until 9am.
