The service here is SO BAD. I could have written negative reviews multiple times since I opened my accounts two years ago. It took three hours to open my accounts initially. I was promised fabulous service which never happened. Once, a teller asked if I’d like a manager to call me to discuss the issues and I said “yes” but, of course, they never called me.
Today, it took me 25 minutes in this branch to NOT accomplish my business of closing my account and taking my money. I was told to make an appointment for NEXT THURSDAY (today is Friday) or call the 800 number (The 800 number is their suggestion for everything) or drive around to see if other branches could help me.
I insisted on speaking with the manager who explained he was short handed, only a banker could close an account, and he’d been begging for more staff for months. WHAT? A bank manager who can’t do account operations!
He did agree to find me an earlier appointment next week at a branch further away but the the whole experience really validated my decision to take my money to another bank.

I work in the hospitality industry, so when I deposit cash it’s often in $1s. Today is the second time this has happened to me at this branch where I am just trying to deposit my money, and the woman teller decided she would prod into my personal life, going as far as to asking where I work which could potentially put my life in danger. I understand that to her she might have just been trying to make conversation, but the way it sounded was judgmental and invasive. If I decide to tell you about my job, life etc that would be my decision to do so.

The bank tellers here find it appropriate to ask what you're pulling money out for. One instance, my girlfriend pulled out X amount of money and they asked her what it was for, then made a comment on the price. Another instance, on 5/19 I came into the branch to take out a larger amount that need a manager approval. When asked what for, I ignored it. When the manager came, the teller told the manager I refuse to give them an answer. The manager asked what is the withdrawal for? When I told her I don't feel the need to answer that. She told the teller, I know him and he must be having a bad day and made another side comment which I could not hear. Corporate told me I should not be asked any of these questions. They also said if they believed it was a suspicious transaction which they had no reason they should of pulled me into an office and ask different type of questions. Asking these questions was completely out of line especially with customer waiting behind me. So unprofessional and trashy

Waited an hour to get a debit card. Still ended up leaving without one. I was one of two clients in the entire building, and the other guy was being helped since I walked in. 4 staff members sitting down and not one person can print a debit card.

Eddie the Mananger is an extremely talented business person. His intelligence, management style and customer service sets examples the likes that I have not seen in my fifty-five year career. He compares to the top five percent of executives that I have I countered in my lifetime. He should be moving through Wells Fargo faster than the elevator could take him to the top!
