Horrible experience, I went to open my account for the first time, a very attentive girl helped me at 10am, she gave me an appointment for 1:30pm, she asked me for all my documents, everything was fine, and when I returned for my appointment at 1: 30pm they helped me at 1:40 and started asking me for documents, anyway...I couldn't open the account because they didn't accept my work permit as an ID, so I wonder why I should give me an appointment if they first check my documents and They see that my ID is a work permit, social security. They made me lose half a day of work in vain. They wanted to send me to another of their offices and I asked the girl if they were going to assist me there directly or I would have to make an appointment for another day, she started calling said office that never answered. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I thank God because from there I found something better.

Horrible branch and terrible service. They are always “understaffed” and always have incredibly long waits. I wouldn’t be saying this if it wasn’t the first time having to deal with them. This place needs to focus on customer service sometime in the near future.

THEY ERRONEOUSLY CLOSED OUR CHECKING ACCOUNT AND HAVE DONE NOTHING TO RECTIFY--We opened a small business checking account in April 2022 over the phone with a representative and submitted required documents via Docusign. After using the account very regularly for a month, we received a notice on May 16, 2022 that they did not have ID on file for me and I needed to bring it to a branch office. I live in upstate NY and the closest branch is 2 1/2 hours away. After 3 hours with WF customer support, being disconnected 3 times and going through 4 levels of their support team I was finally told I could fax a copy of my ID to the San Marco, Jacksonville Fla branch. I did so immediately and had written confirmation of the successful transmission. I tried to reach the branch by phone numerous times to confirm they were taking action, but got a recording and then disconnected. We continued to use our account and received no further notices until we logged in on June 2, 2022 to discover it was closed due to a compliance issue (my ID) and our balance was unavailable to us. After another 2 hours with the customer advocacy team and the Jacksonville branch they had no idea why my profile wasn't updated with the info I faxed on May 16th. I faxed it again immediately (with proof) expecting my account to be reopened immediately, as this issue was caused by their repeated errors. Not the case, due to their protocols it takes at least 24-48 hours to update. The consumer advocate tried to reach the branch to confirm that they uploaded the document, but now she couldn't get though either. They opened a formal complaint, and a representative will help us, but they will need about 10 days! It is June 4th, our money is not available to us (apparently their protocol is to cut a check and put it in the mail) and our business transactions have been completely disrupted. This is a nightmare!

Went to this branch to purchase a gift card and to change an automatic payment drawing out of an account to a different one. A lady that was by herself in an office asked me what I needed and I told her. First she disappointingly said that Wells Fargo no longer carries gift cards, she adviced me to go to Wal-Mart or Target, but there will be some fee. When I asked to move that automatic payment from one account to another she started giving me instructions how to do it myself. If I wanted to waste two hours trying to figure it out on my own, I would've done it instead of taking time and effort to go into a branch. I still like Wells Fargo, but this specific branch proved to be unfriendly and unprofessional.

Website does not direct you to open branches. No COVID 19 information posted on doors of closed branches. Website information about opened and closed branches is wrong. Not a good bank in so many ways.

Only because there is no place for Zero Stars! So while we're all dealing with big changes these days; how difficult would it be to change either the website for this branch or the voice mail to say, "This branch is temporarily closed!" Pre-Coronavirus this wasn't the best branch to do business with; now, if I decide to stay with Wells Fargo, I'll do all I can to avoid ever going to this branch again!

I’ve transferred money, wired money and exchanged currency here several times along with regular banking since Wells Fargo took over First Union. I’ve been with both, combined about 30 years and never had a bad experience or a problem with Wells Fargo. I love the new branch on Atlantic, real convenient, great staff.

Y'all, I had a self made problem. The teller manager worked so hard to help me. Unfortunately she wasn't able to do what I needed due to system automation, and the bank on the other end, but she exhausted every avenue possible. Dealt with me crying, and a tiny silent bit of panic. I couldn't possibly have been luckier than to work with someone like her. I wish I knew her name... Because she deserves all the praise. ALL. OF. IT.

Friendly folks but for me a few hundred extra dollars in interest, it's hard to justify the 1 hour time to setup a CD for over 100,000. Seems like they would have someone available to help ballers, yo ?
