I always have a negative, uncomfortable feeling when I walk into this Walmart because Walmart staff members approach me in groups, glaring at me, pretending to be purchasing something around me but really watching to see if I am shoplifting. (If I could I would give this Walmart a negative five stars.) You could be wondering why they do that. Allow me to explain: Once years ago I came to Walmart, and I had several items in my grocery cart. When I got to the register to pay my card was not being accepted, so I left the basket and all of its contents at the register, walking out. A slender, African American young lady with a big, puffy, light brown pony tail that nearly matched her skin tone followed me outside, yelling to security that I stole something, and security said yeah. I felt so angry I wanted to call her a word, but I just kept walking. That was embarrassing, and she then alerted other staff to watch me closely in case I steal something. BI**H! She had a yellow vest on so she could have been feeling overly confident in her new promotion. Who knows? That's not all that has happened to me at this Walmart. I have had celebrities get in my personal space while shopping, so I called the corporate office. Once this guy from a church conference got a supervisory role at Walmart, and was closely standing over me while I made my purchase. I called Walmart corporate office, and I complained of discrimination, racism, disrespectful consideration of my personal space. Once my little brother came to eat at the McDonald's at this Walmart, and the worker undercooked the burger so much that the burger was still pink and bloody. My brother threw up at home that day. No matter how I felt family member kept insisting on going to this Walmart. As soon as I was able to drive I stopped going to this location, but after several years I came back for a brief visit and the same old feeling along with the same old differential treatment was still there. I decided to speak up about it this time.

This Walmart is nice. Even has a health center for basic needs. However the parking lot and traffic can be crazy at times. Lots of other stores and restaurants too.

Always packed. Now over the intercom they speak in Spanish. The self checkout to me is good. I use it, because I don't need a separate bag for each item.

If you are seeking employment with the Atlantic and Kernan 5054, cover urself with another income, because I worked part time there and it wasn't a problem until I got a schedule rotation at new job and Hiring manager Jessica asked for my schedule and was willing to wrk around it, she would schedule me after I had wrked 12hrs for another job, the next day 11a till 8, when I said it would be overwhelming for me, she gave me my days to wrk but then took me completely off schedule after I didn't have a opportunity to give her a new schedule. Instead of being honest, she hired new ppl cut the current workers hrs to give the new comers hours. This was unprofessional and rude. After I brought this to her attention she wish me to have a good day. I felt she could have ask me for the new schedule instead of letting me go

A big-time frustration. Encountered a few employees who can't understand a word in English, only Spanish. How did they get hired if they can't speak English? There's even a few employees who aren't properly trained in customer service. Things went downhill since Cedrick, the store manager, had left. At least Cederick had the humble decency to put signs on each cash register encouraging people to contact him if employees are messing up.
