After several failed attempts at buying fish at Petco for a new aquarium only to have them perish within days...we opted for Pet Supermarket and, two years later, this is our pet store of choice. I love talking with pet lovers who have a passion for animals. Today, Lex and Victoria provided solid customer service. Friendly folks, neighborhood location. :)

Took my puppy there today for grooming "Nicky" was great and puppy had nails buffed and full shampoo. I take her every 2 weeks and this place just won my business!

Bad attitudes and dumb business practices lose customers. I wanted a dog food bowl and picked out the one above the price tag. Imagine my surprise when it rang up nearly $20 more than the tagged price. The Asst. Mgr. and I went back to the shelf where several other of the same bowls were sitting. She said customers must have moved them. Yeah. All of them. I asked her about the next smaller size and she quoted me the price that was posted on the tag. At the register the price rang up $5 more. The Asst. Mgr.'s comment: there must have been a price increase. She refused to honor the price she quoted me two minutes earlier. NEWS FLASH! Petco and Petsmart are a mile away and Amazon's open 24/7! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! STUPID MANAGEMENT.

Recently got some new additions to one of our aquariums. We love our new buddies! Pet Supermarket is clean, organized, and had everything we were looking for. We didn't have to wait long for an employee to assist us. They were eager to help and were very knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions in regards to compatibility, diet, and manageability. There was a variety of fish to choose from and we were able to find all the supplies we were in need of. At checkout, they even gave our dog some treats for being a good girl. An easy 5 stars for an exceptional pet shopping experience.

Always excellent customer service. Clean, well organized store. Great selection. I love what they do to help local pet charities as well and the pals reward program. I love having unexpected coupons. My two girls love going to wander the store, sniffing everything. We always leave with goodies. The young lady that cuts nails is also wonderful with my babies.

Pet Supermarket is our go to place for pet food and supplies. We have two Chihuahuas and they go through food pretty quickly. We have found that pet supermarket has very fair pricing. They have several locations in our area. And they have a large stock of everything you need for every kind of pet. Especially good to keep an eye on their in-store coupons, as well as join their loyalty program. Discounts discounts discounts. They have one day each month that a senior citizen gets an additional discount. We wait till that day and buy enough pet food for the month at that time. It helps an awful lot. The parking is usually good and their stores are very clean, And do not smell bad. Their people are helpful. They take most credit cards. Their loyalty program is very easy to use and is well worth the time it takes to get set up on it.

This review is for the vet clinic. I will not be going here anymore. I checked prices online and also called number online to verify and was told same price that they had online for rabies shots. Had my daughter take puppy in for shots and they charged $30 more. I called again to verify and was told $15 for rabies shots and certificate is included in that price. I asked why was my daughter charged more? Then they get person from clinic who serviced my daughter. She plays d*** acting like she has no clue who got her on the phone to speak with me and then clueless about their prices online. I understand the taxes and waste fees but there should not be more than a $10 difference in price from what is online and what is verified over the phone by others. I only gave 2 stars because they were faster than Petco. Going back to Petco. I'd rather wait in line but know what I am paying.

This Pet Supermarket San Jose best in town. I come to get all of my supplies for my animals. That's including reptiles and amphibians, aquatic fish, my ferret and my dogs! Freddie is awesome. He is very knowledgeable about the fish. Understands what fish can go with others. He's the only person who I will buy fish from in Jacksonville. I've never had a fish die! Also the rest of the staff are great. Very friendly and will help you with any of your needs. I truly wish they would start selling reptiles here. All the other pet supermarkets sells reptiles so it's a little strange for them not being in there!
