We just had Vector Security and Monitoring system installed in our home. Starting with our salesman, Daniel Wickham to our installer Alonzo. I was completely impressed with Alonzo’s professionalism and customer service. He not only took the time to show us how to run the complete system, but truly showed compassion and patience while teaching us the system. Alonzo took the time to answer any questions we had and showed us the easiest steps to manage it. Vector Security is fortunate to have Alonzo as an employee for he goes above and beyond for his customers showing he’s highly skilled and truly shows integrity and initiative! Thank you Vector Security for our new system and for sending us Alonzo.

I have not had any issues with them while having the service but dealing with whoever they have contracted to deal with customer issues or cancellations needs to be trained on etiquette. Consistent communication via email should be implemented and a better attitude needs to be addressed when a customer is calling with a concern. The lady acted like she had an attitude because I had to keep calling information that probably should have been expressed in the very first conversation. Poor customer communication is a good enough reason for me to cancel permanently with this company.

If you’re looking to stay in your home for 3+ years and not move around, this company and its service is solid. Not great, just average.If you are unsure of where you’ll be within the next 3 years, don’t go with this company. Their contracts are non-negotiable, 3 year commitments with the possibility of transferring it. However, you are forced to use their software, and cannot make changes to use their devices with other third-party services. You can’t even sell your devices to others to offset the costs. This is like Apple vs Windows , in the sense of making something simple unnecessarily complicated by locking down their devices and restricting access to their way of doing things. Makes the experience inflexible and lackluster. It may be great from a security standpoint, but when the devices and services don’t work because of software wireless issues, it feels miserable as you can’t adjust things on your end.The mobile app is pretty good and user friendly. Once your devices are hooked up, they stay connected for the most part. Also, the wireless contacts are great and the response times to alarm triggers is quick.However, in addition the above Cons, the wireless setup is ATROCIOUS! It takes forever, and I mean hours sometimes. Always a hit or miss, especially when trying to change passwords every few months to remain secure. Online password sharing is an option, but doesn’t work. And there are times when the internet goes out but returns, the cameras take forever to reload. Horrible in my book.This company is average at best. If you don’t want to mess with stuff and have it all done for you at a higher price point, and living at your place for 5 years, go with this company. Otherwise, find cheaper, more user friendly and just as secure other options. Those options can include a monitoring center to the police and rescue/firefighters too.In the future, I’ll be going elsewhere for my security needs. I won’t be recommending this company at all. They are not worth the price point and countless hours of wireless connection issues, alongside the inflexible contract and product/services.

I was a customer in PA and they treated me well. Dan Foster & AJ were good representatives & demonstrated the system entirely where a 5 year old could do it.
