I checked out my vehicle which was supposed to be full, I took a picture of it because it was in question. It was actually 3/4 full. They're rule is to return it on full and I did but they wouldn't compensate me. Bad business and bad customer service

Jeremy is the best awesome outstanding customer service it was him and another gentleman working Sunday Jeremy was handling that store like it was five people in there I thank you Jeremy for all that you do and I know you only do it because you care we need more people like you that care

This is to whom it may concern,I was attempting to rent a vehicle from your facility today December 19, 2023 at Normandy Boulevard in Jacksonville Florida. When I entered the facility, I was greeted by a young blonde woman who was very polite to me. I had to go back outside because I forgot my ID and when I came back in, she was being verbally abused by whom I assume is her manager. I didn’t get the managers name, but she was an African American Lady with dreadlocks. I heard the blonde lady who had assisted me earlier being accused of being untruthful about an incident which I wasn’t witnessed to. The supervisor neither acknowledged me or asked if I needed any assistance.I am writing this, because I decided to take my business elsewhere and the situation was very uncomfortable, and I didn’t feel as if U-Haul deserved my business. I hope this manager can be trained on proper conduct on how to treat her employees, especially in front of customers.I hope my review reaches the proper supervisors, so that more business may not be lost in the future because of unprofessionalism by Staff towards their employees

On Dec 14 I came into Storage there with my mother.. We keep a lot of nice belongings in our unit. I was in shock when we pulled up and saw a tenant who had his belongings all down the hallway, full of food,not to mention all the bugs crawling out of all of his stuff. I asked the housekeeper whom is always so friendly and honest with me , what the issue was . She explained to me that she made her superiors aware of the issue. However as we were making our way to our unit this gentleman had the entire isle blocked with items everywhere. The fact that U-Haul was U-Haul letting this guy move food and items with roaches crawling everywhere inside of two separate units is absolutely disgusting. U-Haul is just about making money , they have no regard for other people’s belongings . Think twice about bringing your stuff here .

97 STORAGE UNITS BROKEN INTO, HOMELESS LOITERING ISSUE.There’s a couple of girls that work at this location that are hardworking, but this place is ran with a skeleton crew-it’s not a hiring issue. U-Haul has always ran skeleton crews. Do more with less approach. This rant is directed toward their regional management and corporate. 97 units were broken into. I had belongings stolen. Not a single email from U-Haul or a follow up, or any kind of response to provide confidence that your property is in safe hands. To any prospective buyers-your stuff is not safe there. I spent a few days going back and forth moving my stuff out of there and to an Extra Space Storage location that has staff and security. During my time at U-Haul moving my stuff, I noticed a bunch of homeless junkies prowling around, free range. I even spotted one wearing a beat up and dirty U-Haul jacket-can’t make this stuff up. The unit next to me was moving out too, she told me she went to use the bathroom, but there was water everywhere (they were washing themselves) and drug paraphernalia.the cherry on top of this is that U-Haul just raised their storage prices…insane.

The website was easy to make and modify reservations, email and text communications were prompt, and on-site pickup (in person check-in) was organized and smooth!

No a great experience!! I made a reservation on Thursday and when I arrived in Saturday, it was unavailable!!Yanell in customer service is a moron, dumber than a box of rocks. They were severely under staffed on a Saturday!!

ERIC SAVED them from a 1 star rating as the counter people on checking in and out are extremely slow. Expect a 1-1/2 hrs check in time even with a reservation and was going to be even longer on checking out if ERIC had not taken time to ask people about dropping off.Other locations were extremely prompt and motivated.ERIC THE OLDER GENTLEMAN YOU ROCK.

So in this transaction I reserved a cargo van. I have done this many times before. At other UHaul locations they did not require a credit card for it despite the website stating it was required. When I got to this location they did enforce this which I understood but was unfortunate because I needed the vehicle. However, a representative named Beth was able to book me into a 10' truck later in the day and because of the situation they let me rent it at the van rate with lower cost per mile. She did not have to do that but it showed that she understood my situation and handled it extremely well and I appreciate that greatly.

The truck was dirty inside. I paid for a dolly and it was not even available. They didn't even refund it to me. The check in to pick it up was terrible. They charged a 20.00 fee to drop it off after the office closed.

This place is so incredibly slow - every time I come here. It is the first of the month and they have one person working the desk. There are lots of people working but with only one at the desk it means so many people in line…. Why do the online check-in if you still have to go thru the very painful and long process of check in? No, it turns out that people who were walking around doing nothing can help at the desk. After 20 minutes of waiting someone comes to help??? No sense of customer service at all.

My go to uhaul facility. Great people. Busy times you need to be patient. They will take care of you. I always recommend for rentals and storage to all my customers looking for that kind of service, they offer

Employees need to be better trained in the information they provide to customers in store. And once it is established the president needs to do what is needed to make it right instead of going to online it says etc.. We didn't make our reservation online it was made at the location and what we were told was conveyed by the employee working. But no worries because I won't use the location again first time have had an issue with it but it only takes one time with me.
