We were greeted by the most friendly smile of Mary at the front desk. The building Incredibly well kept so clean, so bright and cheery . We absolutely loved our stay I cannot say enough great things about it.

It was the best! We are Tru by Hilton fans for life. The hotel was so clean throughout which is amazing. Sparkling outdoor pool. Our room, bed, bathroom and bath products were great. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet which Mariah kept clean, fresh and full well beyond 9 am every day. The Lavazza coffee was wonderful. Jamil at the front desk was polite and very helpful. It honestly could not have been better. We hope to visit again soon. WilliamNoteworthy details: Coffee 24/7, hot water for tea, great breakfast

Stayed here for Christmas Eve.When arrived blackout blind would not go down all the way, tv did not work. Called maintenance, took 45 minutes to repair. Breakfast is terrible. Powdered eggs, precooked dry turkey sausage, no orange juice, only fruit was oranges, no danish.. however coffee good.Walls extremely thin. We could here guest in next room. Hotel is very cheaply made and very overpriced. We payed $176 for one night that should have cost $80. I can see why it is rated 2 star. We stayed here because of convenience and recommended by family. I would not stay again and would not recommend.

My gf and I stayed there for 5 days and I can't emphasize how impressed we were..The room was clean, the bathroom was spacious, there was a big screen TV and a small fridge.Morning breakfast was good with a variety of choices, coffee around the clock, and for yall gym rats, it's open 24/7Staff were nice, the service was great, the location for us was super, and it felt safe there..There's a pool in the back, but we preferred going to the beach instead ..I'm definitely going back when we visit Jax again

I love the location and decor of this hipster hotel. The room was much smaller than I expected. Still, it was clean, and I love the organic soaps and lotion. The bed wasn't very comfortable, but overall, decent value.Safety: Very safe area close to gas stations and a great shopping center. Beautiful location tucked away from the main streets.

Great hotel! Mary from front desk was absolutely amazing. She helped my boyfriend print out a sign for the airport, and was really sweet and a fantastic front desk clerk.

We were in town for a wedding and stayed 3 nights. Staff was super friendly & accommodating, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. And, the cleaning people are on top of it. Parking was ample and great location. Publix grocery store and Target within walking distance. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I'm here for a week and I'm just 2 days they have been better to me than any other place that I've stayed! Very customer oriented and it just adds to the great updated rooms and easy access!

We stayed there for 2 nights. The second day we had a very disruptive interaction with Jacob Reiner, Pool technician. While we were at the pool with my son, he approached us inquiring our names in a very aggressive way. The staff wasn’t wearing a uniform or a name tag. We didn’t even knew he worked there. He refused to say his name. We had the hotel room card in front of us, but with aggressive words and body language he accused us of not being guests at the hotel. He slammed the pool door several times and made me and my family scared and uncomfortable. My son was also scared of his approach and we were in shock. A few minutes later, the hotel manager Sarah Sherman, who also did not introduce herself but was wearing a hotel tag came to check if we were guests. When we share the incident with Jacob Reiner she recommended us not to use the pool. We felt unsafe, targeted and mistreated to say the least. I hope someone from the hotel will apologize for the lack of professionalism and risk that they put their guests at. Definitely worst nightmare and not recommended for anyone, especially if you are part of a minority group.Safety: Very unsafe

The room was good! Small but clean and nice. For the price I’d say go for it.The service at the front desk was very rude at every encounter over a 4 day stay. To start, they gave me a single bed when I had booked a double and the front desk could not care less. There were a few other odd encounters but I won’t get into the details. I’d stay again, but do not expect any service what so ever.

Mary is absolutely amazing!! We were in town for a soccer ⚽️ tournament & she handled the customers like a BOSS!! Hotel is super clean, very convenient to everything & super quiet even with a sold out house full of kids. Again MARY & staff can not give you enough praise we will definitely stay again @ this location!!Rooms: Roomy, very clean nice showers & what I love no carpet so the room does not smell old & stale all hotels should go to this.Safety: Very safe areaNoteworthy details: The Best staff ( MARY) just a great place to stay!!

It’s a very clean hotel, with small but nice rooms. I would even say it has sound proof rooms. However, the personnel at the front desk ignores you to the point that you feel like you don’t exist. We booked 2 king size beds room and we got a room with 1 king size room. When we went downstairs to talk to the receptionist and he never looked up and said there was no other rooms available without checking on the computer. Then we had two more encounters and both times they indicated that we don’t exist in their world. One of them was during breakfast when a lady who was changing the pancake dough came to the machine and turn back to me without anything and made a step back towards me. I would understand if she would ask me to move but this was unnecessary and just rude.

This rating could be higher but the service had a lot to be desired. My friend and I spent three nights there while there to see the Chiefs play the Jaguars. The complimentary breakfasts were ok, no more. The room and the hotel were clean and that's great. But the main thing that was unacceptable to us was the fact that we had to ask for towels every freaking day! Then they told us we needed to request room service and towels and be placed on a list....a day after we arrived, not when we got there. We then requested and guess what? The next day, STILL NO TOWELS!! But on Monday when we were to check out, here comes housekeeping knocking on the door to tidy up for the next guest. Extremely insulting. Obviously, some people don't regularly shower and don't need clean towels but that isn't the case for me. The next time I come to Jacksonville to watch the Chiefs play the Jaguars, I won't be staying at Tru.

Breakfast was horrible. and the pool should stay open later. It's very clean smell super good and the service is awesome price was a good deal.Nearby activities: Surrounding some great selections of activities and restaurants everything within less than 5-10miles.Walkability: Gas station restuarsnt and publix in walking distance.Food & drinks: ALL AROUND YOU! BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL IS DISGUSTING. BUT U WILL NOT STARVE.
