I recently had a few rolls of 35mm film developed. Several different c-41 film stocks. My customer service experience in the store was pleasant. The film was developed perfectly with no issues I could see. I choose to have my film developed only since I scan with a mirrorless camera so I can't speak to their film scanning process. The price is reasonable considering no one else in the area developes film AND gives you the negatives back. The only complaint I have is I didn't get a call back when my film was finished being developed. I had to call in and ask about it. I plan to have many more rolls of film developed here so I will see if this was just a one time occurrence. Picture are some Lomography 400 and portra 400 developed at this location

Worst experience I've had in all the places I've gone to develop my film. Went in to have 11 rolls of 35mm processed, was charged a development fee up front, which is not a problem. I was then told that I would be contacted once the film was developed to discuss scanning prices, as they only charge you for the film they can scan. This is where the positive experience ended. After over a month of waiting (which I understand could be reasonable for such a large order), I called to check in on the status of my film. I was told that the film had been developed for over 2 weeks and that I was contacted (not true) but didn't answer (also not true, as I checked my call log). I was then told that I had an outstanding balance of over $100, which I was surprised to hear. I went in person and paid the balance, which was for film scanning (which I was not contacted about). When I opened the envelope of negatives, I realized that I was a roll short. I proceeded to check the scans sent to me, which is when I ran into the next issue: they were all horrible quality - the absolute lowest resolution you could pass off as being decent. Zooming into these photos even a little would result in horrible pixelation. My missing roll was not included in the scans either. I called to inquire about the whereabouts of my missing roll of film and to ask for a refund for the scans. Only THEN was I told that there are different levels of quality scans you can pay for: the higher the resolution, the more expensive the scan (also a concept that I am unfamiliar with, as the other places I've gone to scan film have a flat rate and MUCH higher quality scans). I was then told that whether or not I wanted them, I had to pay for them, as the work had already been done; however, this wasn't work I requested or was told about, so I filed a complaint to my card company and received a full refund on the scans. I then proceeded to call Harmon Photo in Orlando where I used to have my film scanned (I only tried FotoTechnika because they are closer), and they quoted me less than $80 for the same job at a higher resolution. I never received the lost roll of film.Fast forward to today: I was needing more film for my camera, and again, FotoTechnika was the closest location that I knew sold film. I stopped in and asked to buy a roll, and as the lady at the counter took my name down for payment, followed up with "Oh, Diego, we have ISSUES with you." She very rudely went on a rant about how what I did was wrong because work was already done and that no matter what I needed to have paid for it. I reiterated that while work was done, it was never work that I'd requested or commissioned; I was only billed for it and I would not be paying them for a service I never requested. Furthermore, I never used a single scan that they charged me for, as their resolution was so low that I could not confidently post those images anywhere or show them to anyone and still look like a competent photographer. I was rudely rung up for an overpriced roll of Fuji 200 at $15 and went on my merry way. Needless to say, I will never be giving this location my business again and would happily drive to Orlando - which is more than an hour longer of a drive for me - than use this place to do ANY type of photography related work.

They were able to make a 24x30 picture for me from a simple screenshot. Before wasting money, & of course materials, they called me in for a sample print before a final print. Once approved, it took less than 48hrs for the final product, and it was amazing! Definitely recommend them and will be coming back.

Spoke w/ James about 35 mm and disposable cameras that need developing in a quick time frame. He was extremely helpful and they are willing to work with us to help get what we need. Not sure that we are going to need them as quickly but will definitely use them when the parent of the deceased is ready to part with the rolls and cameras.

These folks rock! They develop film very quickly and do scans as well. Way better than giving it to cvs/Walmart where they throw your negitaves out afterwards.

Please do not use them to develop film. Dropped off some VERY important rolls from my backpacking trip to Italy and the quality is significantly lower than any other time I have ever gotten film photos developed. The rolls included film from a disposable camera and my professional 35mm from up to 6 months before, all returned with the same quality whether it be from a disposable camera or my professional 35mm. They tried to tell me that it was probably because I had a shaky unsteady hand... it is the ONLY TIME EVER that the photos have come back like this. On every single one of the 7 rolls I trusted them with. Upset I trusted them with important photos and very upset they took no responsibility for however they messed it up.

Dropped of 3 rolls of film for development, and they only took 2 days to develop and scan. The scans are amazing quality, service is great, and I will definitely be going here for all of my film needs! 10 stars if I could.

Fototechnika is great! I have used them for several years. From printing photos off of my phone, to printing large canvas images to hang in my home, to restoring old photos, they can do so much.

I love this place! Everyone is so nice and I enjoy and look forward to dropping my film off to get developed. I always love to support local businesses every chance I get.

The folks at FotoTechnika have always done a wonderful job for me, especially back in the days when I was using 35mm and medium format film. I have several of their film prints framed and hanging on my walls.

I hate making any kind of a review like this but I wish I knew. Nice people working here, but it is ridiculously overpriced. I really wish there was another place in or around Jacksonville to get photos developed. Also the scans I got were very low quality. Apparently I could have gotten better quality (1: they didn't tell me anything about this when I dropped it off, and 2: it is double or even triple the price.). Honestly if you want film developed and live around Jacksonville, just send it to a lab for better quality and a better price.

I recently found out about FotoTechnika. I have been looking for a place to get some of my infrared photos printed, but didn't want to deal with someone over the internet. These guys are great! Excelent service. Great prices. Sorry convenient. You won't be disappointed.
