I've boarded our 70lb chocolate lab with Sue at the Barking Lot 3 times now and can say that I completely trust the Barking Lot to take good care of my pup while we are away. We adopted our dog from the shelter last year and not only did Sue take great care of our fur baby, but she recommended to us the right trainer to address his reactivity, and even taught us what to do differently to improve his coat. Whatever the Barking Lot lacks in aesthetics, it's made up by Sue's knowledge of and dedication to dogs. Make no mistake: Sue. Knows. Dogs! We will be back again whenever we need to board our dog in the future.

I’ve been coming to The Barking Lot for years with my dogs. They love going to doggy daycare everyday. They are well taking care of and very happy when I drop them off and when I pick them up. Sue is very compassionate. I won’t take my dogs anywhere else other then The Barking Lot

They don't deserve a rating I called this b**** an the minute I said I had cats oh I don't take cats.i only got out I have a questions I have a few cats had the d*** b**** let me finish she would have found out I lost my home that day in a fire an was wondering since am not from here who takes cays. Thanks for your help in oh thanks for letting me ask my queation

They are listed on the ACPS list of shelters and also say on their website that they are a rescue. When I called to see if they could help me find a home for a stray I found I was yelled at and then hung up on after I suggested they update their website because it says they are a rescue.ETA: I called a dozen rescues that said they were full and they were all kind and polite and I had no problem that shelters are full. There are more dogs than spaces and I totally understand that. What is NOT okay is yelling at people. I thankfully found a loving home for the stray, but I definitely will not be taking my own pets to a business that yells at people trying to help animals and is rude and hangs up on potential customers.

Just picked up my baby girl Daisy from a 3 day stay here. She's all smiles plus being fresh & clean from a complimentary exit bath. Miss Sue always take great care of my babies! We will definitely be using her again for any boarding needs.
