This company is a ripoff. I have sent documentation multiple times and it’s mysteriously lost. In fact, they don’t reply to emails in a timely manner and when they do reply it’s weeks later and the information they give isn’t entirely true. I don’t have phone calls returned, ever. This company tried to tell me that I live in California. I’ve never lived or worked in California. When I went to complain the person was yelling at me because she didn’t know how to tell the truth so she yelled at me THE CUSTOMER. This company asked me to get specific forms filled out and returned but then a couple days later went ahead and completed the tax forms without my documentation then told me they were going to charge me more for any changes? This is fraudulent and is being reported to IRS as the scam this company is. They are more interested in harming me than helping me and I paid them. Lawyering up!

Zero stars. Do yourself a favor and read reviews on consumer affairs, yelp, and various other sites, including lawyer sites. They are predators, taking advantage of vulnerable people who are already experiencing financial hardships. After submitting an inquiry, I was called within 30 seconds and promised help. In my desperation, I agreed to enroll knowing full well and explaining multiple times to Joshua that I couldn’t afford their prices. Being scared, vulnerable and desperate, he convinced me I could do this and be okay. The next day I asked to cancel because I know I cannot afford it. No one called back, no one responded to emails, the text and phone number I was given doesn’t go through (says undeliverable). The contract states I had three days to cancel and get my deposit back. I did it the next day! How do you cancel if no one is willing to call you back or respond to messages??? It’s shady and it’s wrong. Debt relief companies pray upon vulnerable desperate people who have fallen on difficult times. They do not guarantee success and take thousands of dollars from customers, leading them into further debt. I take care of a partner with cancer and we lost our business during Covid. Knowing that and still doing things like this to people is pure EVIL. If you work for this company, grow a conscience.

Very bad. For the money that I paid them they did absolutely nothing. I’m very disappointed that I chose them to help me with my tax debt. I would have gotten the same result without paying them anything, and I think they work for the IRS. Give me my money back.

Run from this company! They are the absolute worst company I’ve ever worked with! I got their name from a ad that promises they can eliminate or greatly reduce what you owe the IRS! It’s a huge lie. They took my money from January to July and only completed one tax return. The lack of communication and the fact that I spent thousands more than I made and they still had me paying 6k to the government! I’m talking 10 to 15 thousand less than I made! They don’t care about helping! They only care about the money they take from you every month! Then when I canceled they kept almost 900$ of what I paid them for supposed work they claim they did! They even charged me for last years taxes onto my balance and 2 months later never received a return for last year! They are such a joke! Negotiate with the IRS yourself and stay away from these crooks! RUN ??♀️They also are keeping around 2k of my money because I didn’t cancel the first week!! So greedy!

The Tax Defense Network is an amazing company. Mainly Monita Liu. She resolved a tax issue that I’ve had for the last nine or 10 years. She was amazing. She got me the greatest deal and made me a true believer in the Tax Defense Network if anyone has issues call the Tax Defense Network and ask for Monita.

Had a particular tax problem first reached out to jd tax law they never took care of the problem left them for tax defense and the guy who took my call I explained my particular problem and he was shocked jd tax law didn’t take care of it so I agreed to go with them after 4 months of no communication no call backs on several attempts to reach out to them I finally called the number for account update was promised a call back well I called Monday and now it’s Sunday with nothing I can basically now count it as a 5500 dollar loss because I got a letter from the irs and looks like my problem wasn’t fixed please people read the 1 star reviews before calling if I would’ve I would have never made the call they are very accurate reviews and I can relate to most

I needed help with the state placing a lien on my bank account for back taxes and it had taken almost a month between when I signed up for help and when I received said help. By that time it was too late to do anything to stop the process from taking place. Needless to say but the money was taken and it was devastating for my family and I as it forced us to be behind on everything. I'm not sure why it had taken so long for the process to start but I was assured that had it been even one week earlier something could've been done to protect my account. I'm not very happy I must say

I started receiving calls today saying that I had applied for assistance.... LIES all LIES. I have not applied for anything from any one. I have received 12 calls today alone and the reps have been Rude and Nasty. The last one screamed at me, I would nevere do business with a company that lies and employees people that are as rude as they are.
