My cat was diagnosed by them with a form of liver disease in very early stages. They refused to offer any further help other than loads of testing. I didn’t want to sit by and watch him decline rapidly because he is my best friend and deserves the help and extra mile. I would understand if there was nothing they can do, but at that point they were catching it early. I took him to another vet and they immediately started medication and a feeding tube and when they tried to acquire the testing records from Saint Francis, they ignored me and my vet and wouldn’t send them over until confronted with the legal issues. If I stayed with their care my cat would be dead. But no thanks to them he is alive and thriving and I will always warn people to not bring their animals here.

Had been happy with services at their old location. Visited their new location only once and was put off with the tiny office and unimpressed by the personnel. Have changed vets as a result.

Never had an issue! Bloodwork does take two days, and that is normal! I just took my dog to another doctor due to time management and they took blood from my dog, guess what, it also took two days! So people complaining about bloodwork taking two days, well its normal most of these clinic do not have a major lab in the back! Those that complain about treatments to be halved due to cost, guess what if a doctor told you you had to take two or three pills a day for your allergies or to maintain your life, would you question him/her or would you take them as prescribed? And Walmart does not sell medications that help dogs or cats per se. So asking the Doctor to call them in to Walmart are too ignorant to bother with, I too would hang up on them. This place is very good, staff is excellent and the doctor has been around for ever! Great place, take your pets there anytime, but call ahead to check first, like any hospital this place will take emergency cases first!

The receptionist was so incredibly rude to me. She hung up on me while I was trying to tell her that I was on a fixed income and couldn’t afford 180$ allergy pills and could my dog just be prescribed one per day rather than 3? Or could they call it in to a regular pharmacy (like WAL-MART) she said no and hung up the phone. Also be ready for incredibly long wait times. The female vet ( works T, W, Th) is alright but had bad experiencewith the guy working Monday. . My 2 grandchildren took their cat to him and he raised his voice at them.So they weren’t happy with him either. So no don’t go there. Find a different place to take your animals.

I fracking Love these people! The Vet talks to you like you're a human being and not some failed animal caretaker. And the best part YOU CAN TELL THEY ACTUALLY CARE!!!

Front staff was so incredibly rude when I called. The reception team is the first impression, and this clinic gave a bad one. Will not be using this vet or reccomending to others.

Horrible experience. they took my deposit and agreeded to do a biopsy on my dog. two months past and no appt was offered. After a couple of calls and a change of Dr. they refunded money and dismissed him without cause. Racism? don't go there

It's crazy you are open Mon thru Thurs. Every person in this world work during your open hours why aren't you open on the weekends when real people have time to take their pet in to see the doctor. Fri sat sun I would assume would be extremely busy for you if you were open. Just a suggestion.

If you are okay waiting two days for blood work, this place is for you. I have a very sick cat but I am short on funds. They are very caring. But some issues require urgent care. This place is not the place for urgent care. I sent my initial response prematurely bc I am clumsy. So what I intended to say additionally is that although their availability is inconvenient at times. There is no doubt that their staff & vet genuinely care for animals & provide excellent care. But this is not "urgent care" nor do they claim that. I don't know the circumstances, but I wish they were accessible more often & had a quicker turn around time for blood work. But they are usually less expensive, so there you go. My cats often strategically wait until Saturday before becoming symptomatic... for this you need something else. But for regular care, they are great.

Angela is fantastic! Caring, attentive, concerned. Contacted me immediately to let me know a large cyst was discovered during my cat's routine spay. Sent me pictures and explained the issue. Recommended follow-up care without going overboard. I do think meeting the vet is important and would recommend that to this practice.

We had a very good experience with St. Francis for my cats hyperthyroid treatment. Very affordable price and efficient! Dr. Shelton and Angela are very knowledgeable and took great care of my Tillie! Thank you for all of your help!
