I have been using this pharmacy for a few years now, and typically have relatively good experiences, aside from one person. Tonight's experience has left me livid. He was very short with me and annoyed before I opened my mouth. He starts asking the usual questions backwards, which was confusing, but I follow along. I then say that I have a new Good Rx card and asked if he needed that info, which was ignored. Then he grabs the medication and asks me about some other discount card. He says more confusing things, and when I try to break it down to be sure I'm understanding him, he paused and stared at me like I was the dumbest person on the planet... He was very rude and I almost went off on him, but decided I'd be an adult about it, even if he couldn't be. Genuinely pissed and frustrated. Why treat patients so poorly? Sorry you had to do your job?.. and yes, this one experience was bad enough that it negates many other harmless experiences..

Parking can be a bit congested depending on the time of the day or day of the year it is. There's restaurants and shops across from this supermarket. Parking is shared. With that being said on my last visit I came for a chicken tender sub. The wait was about 10 to 15 minutes with two people in front of me. Both sandwich stations were running. Also picked up some cookies. The sugar ones were great but the chocolate chip were definitely stale. They have self checkout and non checkout here. No issues there.

I am a huge fan of Publix Supermarkets- I was on the other side of town and my local stores were out of Digiorno Meat lovers pizza- they were on sale and those are John's favorite! I had a cooler in the back for the thanksgiving turkey I had just picked up, so it was worth a shot. They did have a couple pizzas left in the case! It was Monday before the big turkey day, and the place was packed, but true to Publix standards- every employee was friendly and helpful. Checkout went smoothly and I was on my way out the door quickly! The parking lot was also crazy-busy. I had to wait longer to back my car out of the spot than I waited to check out! lol. Tis the season! Thank you Publix for having what I needed in stock.

This Publix is frequently not stocked on advertised sale items. It is not nearly as clean as it used to be. Additionally, it rarely has ample cashier lines open. They are obviously attempting to push the self serve lanes. If one is having to wait on him/herself, why pay the price to go "where shopping is a pleasure"?

Only Publix pharmacy in Duval I've found claiming they can't and won't give out quantity or availability over the phone. Not once but three times. Snotty attitude when I explained I regularly check before driving when my normal pharmacy is out, but others do so as politely as any other Publix expected experience. How the staff engages the community is a sign whether the Pharmacist needs to address his/her house issues or get a different position.

I’m not sure if the guy still works there but I will drive out of my way to avoid this pharmacy. The guy argued about my name, because I was previously married and my insurance. I was on tricked YEARS ago. Dude kept putting in my previous last name and filing it under tricked even with me giving him my ID and insurance card MULTIPLE times. I told him several times he put in the wrong last name and my insurance wasn’t approving it due so… find out cause he wasn’t putting in my updated insurance. Then when he did, he sent over the name that wasn’t mine. Kept telling me my insurance didn’t cover it. I called my insurance and they told me it was covered. I called the pharmacy after being up there 3 times with this guy to get ahold of a woman who said it was entered wrong. Shocker. Go in and the guy just butcher it again and kept telling me my wrong last name and insurance didn’t cover it. Someone came over and tried to be re run it properly and he had such a bad attitude I literally just walked away. I ended up never getting it from there. Keep in mind this was medication to boost my hormones to make sure I didn’t miscarry because my levels were low. I would give this guy -100 stars. This guy is a liability, You don’t mess with a pregnant woman. And I never had issues with anywhere else. Went over to CVS who gave me 0 issues. Make that make sense.

This store used to be the best place to shop, but is now ghetto Publix. I’d rather shop at Winn-Dixie.

Went in for subs and somehow Ms.Carol knew just what I needed to hear because I was having a rough day. This is but a small moment in her day but the kindness she shared made such a difference. She also makes a great sandwich ?

I don't understand how Publix has great customer service , except for the pharmacy. Went to fill a prescription something that simple and ended up going to another location because I was met with such rudeness. Someone needs to check on this department.

Had an Italian sub made as a salad from the deli, absolutely delicious and actually 2 meals due to how much they put on the sun!

First of all, they never pick up the phone or return messages at this Publix Pharmacy. Claude is the rudest customer service person I've ever dealt with. Right after I got out of the hospital and had to pick up prescriptions, I asked him to please put on a mask and he refused and wouldn't even move 6 ft away so I could place my payment method on the counter to check out (I was wearing a mask; I was feeling particularly vulnerable and emotional, so why not just be nice and do it??). I'm in heart failure, and I don't think I should feel unsafe while picking up prescriptions. They said they moved all my prescriptions over to the other Publix Pharmacy I switched to, and they lied and I've been dealing with their mess for over a month, and again, they won't even pick up the phone. The line is almost always 10+ minutes, especially if Claude is working. I love Publix, but I've been treated so badlyi don't even go there to shop anymore. It's hard enough being terminally ill; this pharmacy just makes it more stressful.

I had been using this pharmacy for years for my family. Just too many mistakes. I always made sure I ordered my refills a good week in advance knowing how ridiculously long it takes them to refill it. The last time was the last straw for me. This refill was important as doses cannot be skipped, safely. They knew this. When I arrived to pick it up a week after I ordered it, it wasn’t there. All they would say is that they never got it in. This was pre-pandemic so not a supply issue. They gave me no reason and no apology- just a stoic response to my panic. I had to beg the pharmacist to find some supply at another location. They said they Normandy store had a few pills to hold me over so I had to trek out there AND because I picked it up out there I had to get the rest of that refill ( two days later) from there as well!! They said I could not get the rest of a refill at a different location?!? Awful service. Not in keeping with the Publix moto for impeccable service. Great store, but find another pharmacy.

Clean store, courteous people but very high prices!!! Also frequently out of stock on AD ITEMS!!! Tired of hearing "covid/supply problem" excuses. It's IN YOUR AD!!!! Shop around and SAVE!!!! I only buy about a third of my stuff there now. Noticeable savings!!

They can never manage a line of more than 4 people. Not necessarily rude, but not polite either. I’ve been given the wrong medication on at least 2 different occasions. One of my medications has the same rebate attached each time and somehow it blows their minds every time. Today was the last straw, as I waited 45 minutes for a prescription and was told to come back the next day. Please go somewhere else if you can!!

Very un-Publix-y experience. Shopping was not a pleasure. *This is just for the pharmacy, not the store (The store is excellent.)* Super disappointed in their service today. The women (only one without a mask in the pharmacy, so clearly not a very considerate person), forgot to enter my order. I waited over an hour to find out she forgot. No apology. No ownership in the error. Wouldn’t even make eye contact. Then she hid behind the shelves and had someone else come talk to me. That employee was also extremely dismissive. I’ve already transferred my prescriptions to a different pharmacy.
