Power Exchange charged me $8300.00 to rebuild 318 motor starting on September 24 2021 and finally ready on May 16 2022. First called in December that the Truck was ready for pick-up when I got the home it had a loud ticking sound and oil leak took it back in January for repair. 2 call in January truck was fixed when I got home still had oil leak dropped truck off in early February. Never received an update status call from February to May. Horrible customer service. The truck was filthy but I noticed scratches in my paint job after washing it found multiple damaged areas. Paid $627.20 for headers they welded on them and said they had a pin hole which would been a manufacture defect and should have replaced not welded. I believe it was damaged when the motor had to be pulled the second time because of the oil leak. Here are my takeaways for this business. 1. Pay top dollar prices for less than marginal work. 2. Horrible customer service. (Customer services DOSEN'T exist). 3. Overpriced parts, almost double on some parts. (Why ?). 4. Your property maybe damaged. (My truck was damaged). 5. The work orders don't state what work was actually done. 6. Inspect your vehicle before you drive away for leaks, noise, damage, and everything is installed, BECAUSE they DO NOT!!! 7. Not trustworthy !!

Like the other review stated, they are a traditional get your car and keep charging you because they have your vehicle scam. I was told $4500 for an engine rebuild, after all the "extra" stuff that was "found" they got me for $8k.The rebuild didn't last a more than 13 months before my car stopped working l. I called about the warranty, and of course it wasn't covered. Warp your head around that, full rebuild and my injectors aren't covered.Oh and because I didn't get my car back within around 500 miles after rebuild they charged me $65 for a CONVENTIONAL OIL CHANGE!!Save your self some money and headache, do not give these guys your business. Like this review and the other one you will get screwed.

I have had a lot of machine work done here and this is the only machine shop in Jax I trust. They may not be the cheapest but their attention to detail is excellent.

Also known as Precision Machine Service. These guys are unethical shysters who purposely set out to bilk every dime out of you they can. DO NOT take your care here!! They mark the price of parts up as much as four times the price you can buy them for but they refuse to install parts that you provide. They are the classic automotive rip off artists personified. The only reason I gave them one star is because I couldn't give them zero or minus stars. The initial price they give for a repair you will grow and grow as they start playing Colombo, "Ahh, we found something else....blah, blah, blah..." and they only speak in terms of multiple of 100. They literally cost me thousands of dollars in excess fees, poor diagnostics, inflated parts prices, and BS labor, plus they kept the vehicle for over a MONTH. STAY AWAY!!

Holy crap this place is bad! Mark Daniels the face of power exchange does not care about you at all. I took my car there to rebuild my motor. I asked for some performance upgrades and we settled on a price. When he had my motor in pieces he called me in and gave me a list of parts he said were bad. I choked. I am a car guy who was familiar with the parts. The total of the part was over $3,000. Most of the part where fine. My motor mounts were bad so they needed to be changed. He wanted over $200 each (advanced price $45, NAPA price $65, and dealership $100) and I wanted a new water pump and thermostat. I went to the dealership (the most expensive place to buy parts) and told him the prices I was being charged he told me that was ridiculous. When I told him who was doing it he told me “Power Exchange has an account with them tell Mark to call them they will do better than that”. I did the math on his markup and most of it was over 200%. When I confronted Mark he was acted like he doesn’t care. During my trip to his shop I saw my car sitting out back in the rain with no hood on it and nothing protecting my wide open transmission. After paying the $7,000 plus bill my exhaust leaked, valve covers leaked and my AC didn’t work. after bringing it back 3 time the AC works and the oil still leaks. He wanted to charge me almost $800 to fix the exhaust leak because they were aftermarket header that his mechanics put on. His statement was “he doesn’t warranty aftermarket parts” and that the motor would have to be taken out to fix. I told him don’t warranty the part warranty your work. Anyways Summit racing sent me new gaskets for free and apologized for my Experience. I fixed it in my driveway in 4 hours. After 2 weeks my car quit driving. When I had it towed to the transmission shop the mechanic told me ther was water in my transmission. ????? HOW DID THAT HAPPEN MARK? I take this car and several others to local car shows and explained this to Mark. He could have made this better but he didn’t care. I have a degree in business management so I understand business, markup and business ethics. This was a horrible experience from the beginning. After to talking to others at work and car shows they shared similar experiences. DONT GO THERE!!!!!!
