I have never reviewed a place before in my life. But the women in this store are some of the most disrespectful people I have ever encountered. We entered planning on dropping thousands on our new furniture but IMMEDIATELY upon walking in they were rude, rolled their eyes, and made incredibly disrespectful comments. Based on the reviews of this store, this is a common occurrence but I am genuinely shocked at how true it is.
All I can say is, these women should be truly ashamed of themselves. I will be submitting a complain to the corporate office as well in the hopes that one day, some day, the corporate office might make some changes to personnel so that they are not losing potential million dollar comments based on their classist, rude, and quite frankly, genuinely trashy employees.

My experience with big purchase item has been nothing but a nightmare. Wish I could give zero stars

The worst customer service experience you can ever have. The quality is probably decent but I’d only shop here if you want to be in charge of organizing your own entire delivery process. They lie about appointment confirmation times, split deliveries if an item is running behind, don’t communicate any changes. I spent $7000 here a month ago expecting to have furniture already but now I’m about to cancel the order and find a company that is capable of delivering furniture.

We had a wonderful sales rep (Patty) in store. However, the customer service/delivery has been atrocious. We were told our order could be split and was approved. Calling over a week later to find out when delivery could be made, we were told split delivery was not approved. The rep was very rude and made no effort to be helpful in the matter. This after receiving confirmation that some of our order was in and when I called they said it wasn't. There are other parts of the order that has been delayed twice with now expected date 6 months after we ordered. With a 5-figure purchase, I would expect way better service than this.

I am officially done with Pottery Barn. I am done paying ridiculous prices for bedding that barely fits. Over the years the bedding has gotten smaller and smaller. Sheets barely stay on mattress and the top sheet doesn’t even cover the top mattress on the sides. Duvets stand straight out on the sides due to lack of material to lay down. Prices keep going up and items are less quality. I have bought my last $300 sheets that lack softness and size. No more $400 duvets that barely cover the bed. Pottery isn’t what it once was. ?

I had a poor experience with Pottery barn kids. I received confirmation of my scheduled delivery for two days and after waiting around on the scheduled delivery date with no call or text from pottery barn I took it upon myself to inquire about ETA of my delivery. I was transferred about 3 times to find out my order was cancelled by pottery barn but no one seemed to know why because there wasn’t notes in the computer. That was the beginning of the terrible customer service I received. I asked for a supervisor over the weekend because maybe they could provide insight as to why it was cancelled after receiving confirmation text messages hours before delivery was supposed to take place, but was never transferred to them. I spoke with customer service agent who told me she will reorder the Larkin toddler conversion kit for me and then said ok it wouldn’t be delivered until May 2nd-May 22nd. There was not accommodation made for the customer. My daughter has outgrown her crib which is why I ordered the conversion kit a while ago and now she is laying on a mattress on the ground. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received and for me to complain it’s bad. I think I have wrote one other poor review in 37 years. This is unacceptable Pottery Barn Kids.

A lot of really nice stuff in the store. The store is clean and the staff is friendly, but the items are very expensive. We were looking for a set of flatware when we ask about it The lady sales rep told us that it was not in stock and would have to be ordered, and I told her not to worry about it I would order it online and she said, oh no, you have to let me order it for you. They've already shut down four stores and if you buy it online, the store doesn't get credit for the sale...wow

I visited the pottery barn store in the St. John town center a couple days ago. I was looking around and was never Offred assistance. I asked a white women who was suppose to be the manager a question about and item in the store she seem to be very timid about me being in the store. I then asked another question about more merchandise in the store and this same particular women seemed not to be comfortable with me in the store. So I went and question another lady who was more friendly. I was going to purchase this particular item because I had a account with them and then out of nowhere security appears in the store as if I was about to walk off with the chair gawking at me like they were going to arrest me. Each security guard had there eyes zoned in on me the entire time I was in the store and followed me to the counter. I guess because I was a black man in a expensive store this women who was the manger felt timid and didn't feel like I was a good fit for this store so she called security. I see why this store has a majority of 1 stars. Pottery Barn needs to get rid of there management before it cost them there reputation why let nasty people ruin your image and judge book by its cover. Its a shame people still have to go through this.

Dear Pottery Barn, congratulations you have sunk to the depths of every bad with retail and customer service. Don't be surprised when your business fails; it may take time but history does repeat itself and when businesses fail to care about the people who took them to a good place, become complacent, they eventually fail.My wife placed an order on 1/3/24 and the order was confirmed to ship to arrive 2/13/24. Yesterday my wife looked up the order only to find that You (Pottery Barn) cancelled the order for no apparent reason, sent no email, gave no reason, just cancelled. The payment was received, order confirmed...then cancelled.WHAT! Really! So now my wife has been trying for 1.5 hours to get someone on the phone who would try to make YOUR mistake right and ship the furniture sooner than the listed 6 weeks. No one is willing to do anything to help.I refuse to call your department that answers phone calls a customer service department because they and YOU do not care anything about your customers!Sad, just sad.I realize these are 1st world problems but it is a sad state that this country has crawled down into.Good luck with your new business strategy PB!

Had great experience here. I found two chairs for my breakfast area, normally $400 each marked down to $99. A memory I’ll always remember.

I rate them a 0I ordered over $4,000 worth of furniture in August 2023 it is now January 2024, and I am still waiting for this order to be completely delivered. The delivery men told us at the end of delivery oh by the way all your pieces were not on the truck.Although i received some pieces A FEW DAYS AGO, I am beyond annoyed.I ordered 2 counter stools, and thus far, I only received 1 .I was told they can not locate the other one. How is it possible that they can not find it. I was told they have to do a 48 hour search for it, and they will not send a replacement until they can locate it.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

If I only had the time to list the issues we had with PB at the Town Center.
Gone are the days of friendly greetings and genuine customer-centric salesfolk.
We ordered something for pickup, prepaid, of course, show up at the store and it’s like we were ghosts. Apparitions, even. In.vis.i.ble.
We were there forty minutes before I most emphatically requested (for the third time) that they please hand over the goods. Nothing but a short excuse while quickly moving on to the bigger fish, you know, the furniture buyers. A few minutes later I get a notification email that reads: your pickup has been canceled, we will refund your money within 5-7 business days. Too bad we can’t use emojis in reviews because here is where I’d put the red faced one with the swears. Are you serious? I then approach yet another sales person who had just clocked in. I asked if she could help me. She was delighted, until I told her about the email I had just received. She was at a loss, so back comes the manager Potter in charge and she says: yeah, it’s been canceled, we don’t have them.
Insert the eyes wide open emoji here.
I replied: you mean to tell me that you let me sit here for forty minutes on my precious Saturday off, and you couldn’t simply walk over and tell me you didn’t have what I paid for? Crickets. My wife and I walked out downtrodden and mad. Until…we went to Sur La Table. Go to their reviews and read what happened next. Hint* it has a happy ending.
No more PB for us.
