I just picked up two 20 pieces here and Nique is a Phenomenal manager!! I honestly HATE picking up Popeyes in the inner city but I can ASSURE you that Nique and her staff are providing top notch quality service. I've never left a drive thru/Popeyes review before but I was taken back by this EXCEPTIONAL service by Nique and her staff that I had to congratulate them!! Thank you Popeyes for my great customer experience.

After being spoken too with a rude attitude whol my order was being taken and told my tenders are cooked to order it would be 5 minutes (which I agreed and was fine with) after paying I was told to park infront to get my food brought out and we waited for a long while. My husband got out of the car and went in to see what the hold up was and they hadn't even started cooking my order yet... all and all it was 20m for the wait using drive thru.... they didn't offer a refund or anything just said "sorry, hope u come back"... like rly?? We spent $37 for 2 ppl!!! Needless to say I will NOT be back I would rather drive further for a different location

Worst experience ever. 2 thighs and dry beans and rice. They call this red beans and rice. But it was as if they was out of beans and added extra rice to fill small container. Went through drive thru service. Charged for leg, thigh, red beans and rice and biscuit. $10.49. But received two thighs, red beans and rice. NO biscuit. Time was Wednesday 8:34pm. Don't know if it was closing time. But if manager did not have the food I should have been informed . Yes the manager served me my meal. Don't blame it on the young female employee. Did not notice until I arrived home. Called store to express my experience but no answer. This review is for 2143 Edgewood Ave. Owners if you read this review I would feel better giving my money to the homeless guy for whatever he needed. Even if he just wanted a to buy beer or wine at the Harvey food store. Okay though venting. Just bad business for our community.

I recently had the misfortune of dining at this Popeyes. To say that my experience was disappointing would be a gross understatement. I have never encountered a fast-food establishment so poorly managed, understaffed, and unapologetically terrible in every aspect. I felt compelled to share my horrendous experience to save others from wasting their time and money at this particular Popeyes branch.First and foremost, the restaurant was severely understaffed. There were long lines of customers waiting to be served, but only a few employees visibly present. The few staff members that were there seemed overwhelmed, disorganized, and disinterested in providing even basic customer service. Waiting times were excruciatingly long, with no indication that the situation would improve anytime soon.Upon finally receiving my order, I was appalled by the state of the restaurant's cleanliness. Tables were dirty, floors were sticky, and the overall ambiance was more reminiscent of a neglected dive bar than a reputable fast-food chain. The lack of cleanliness alone would have been enough to deter me from staying, but the worst was yet to come: the food.The food I received was beyond subpar; it was downright inedible. The chicken pieces were overcooked and dry, as if they had been left under a heat lamp for hours. The fries were limp, soggy, and cold. The biscuits, which should have been a simple yet comforting side, were hard as rocks. It was evident that the food had been prepared with absolutely no regard for quality or customer satisfaction.When I approached the staff to voice my concerns, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of willingness to address the issues at hand. There was no effort made to rectify the situation or even offer a simple apology. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for this Popeyes restaurant.In summary, my experience at this Popeyes was nothing short of a nightmare. The combination of being understaffed, a filthy dining environment, excruciating wait times, and disgustingly horrible food made this visit a complete waste of time and money. I strongly urge anyone considering dining at this particular Popeyes branch to reconsider and choose a different location, or preferably, a different restaurant altogether. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration; your taste buds and your sanity deserve better than what this establishment has to offer.I want to emphasize the lasting impact this horrendous experience at Popeyes had on me. As a customer, I believe in giving restaurants the benefit of the doubt, understanding that everyone can have a bad day. However, the issues I faced at this Popeyes went beyond a mere off day; it showcased a complete lack of professionalism, hygiene, and respect for customers.The disappointment I felt was not just because of the low-quality food or the unclean environment. It was the overall atmosphere of apathy and neglect that truly shocked me. A successful restaurant thrives on a combination of good food, prompt service, and a welcoming atmosphere. This Popeyes, however, failed spectacularly in all these aspects.When I choose to dine out, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy. I anticipate that the establishment will value my patronage and provide a basic level of service commensurate with the price I pay. Unfortunately, this Popeyes shattered those expectations. It left me not only dissatisfied with my meal but also deeply disillusioned with the entire brand.In today's competitive market, customers have numerous dining options, and restaurants need to earn their patrons' trust and loyalty. This particular Popeyes did the exact opposite. It not only lost a customer that day but also made me question the integrity of the entire chain. One bad experience can cast a shadow on the reputation of an entire brand, and this Popeyes certainly did its part to tarnish the image of Popeyes as a whole.

Was turned out the store and told I would have to use drive through. It was not explained why it in a friendly manner I was just stopped at door and you g black lady In a. Gary voice said drive thru! I didn't understand what she was telling me cause their was plenty of tables open and several customers all ready dinning in so I was confused and she said "Drive thru! " A second and third time I just left I felt singled out being the only white person inside and being made to go through the drive thru.

Don’t listen, don’t care attitude, rudeness, maybe if they worked as much as they talked and lolligagged their food and service skills would be on point…. I’m tired of going to a restaurant where ppl don’t wanna do their job and then they have attitudes bc they have to work there!! Get a new job or up your skills then!!!! Don’t take it out on the customer!!! I’m over it!!!

There was no proper greeting when I pulled up at the drive-thru, not even a hello. The cashier didn't even bother to say thank you. However, the chicken sandwich was very hot, which I like. The fries however seem like they've been sitting for hours. I would only recommend this restaurant if you're so hungry. You can't wait to get to someplace else.
