Racist manager & very unpleasant staff. Got a puppy and felt bad about it but did it because I fall in love. Then my puppy got parvo . They sell sick dogs !! Did my research and called the breeder who’s a puppy mill . I have inside photos given to me by an ex employee of where they get dogs from .

this place is awful and extremely cruel. if you “adopt” from here, you’re supporting a terrible company.

Hiya! Just want someone to know, the last 2 times we've been there to look for a new family member, their cages were filled with poop. I felt so bad for these guys and seeing how you treat your animals, I will be looking elsewhere.

Store front for puppy mills. These dogs are badly breeed and not kept in good condition which is why so many of them are sick. Gross. Adopt or go to an actual breeder that does health testing and shows the parent. No legit breeder would sell their puppies through a store.

My children have been wanting a dog for the longest. My husband and I did not know if we were “ready” yet. Our goal was to feel peace of mind when taking on such commitment. Abby has guided us through the process, she is knowledgeable and answers every question we have brought to her attention. We are thankful for her assistance and guidance. We are excited for this new stage and couldn’t have done it with out her help to choose our fur baby addition.

Abby, the store lead, is one of the most helpful people I have ever met. I have not brought home a dog yet, but if I did, I would come to this location specifically so I could work with Abby. She has a unique understanding of animals. Her attention to detail is second to none. You can tell that she really cares about her customers, and wants to help find the right pet for each family.

I really did not want to do this, but I had no other choice. Please do not purchase a pet from this company. I got my puppy last year and she was sick. I should have found it strange that they offered a warranty on pets but no actual document for you to keep, but I proceeded anyway. When I went back to the store, the manager gave me the contact information for claims and warranties, Jennifer Holloway.
I left multiple voicemails and never received a callback. I e-mailed her and it took a while for her to respond. When she did respond, she asked me for information NOT pertaining to my request. I gave her all of the information that was needed for a refund. It has been 15 months now and we are getting nowhere, so I have to leave this review to warn others. I wish I checked the reviews before walking into the store.
Also, I asked her for her managers contact information 4 months ago and again 3 months ago. She never responded. They charge way too much for puppies and do not give refunds despite what they tell you at the time of purchase.

Terrible Experience - Petland and Forever Vets Failed My New Puppy!!! Guardia. Kennel cough. Overdose.
I recently purchased a puppy from Petland with the intention of bringing some comfort to my other dog, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy. The staff assured me that the puppy was in good health, which was a critical concern given my situation. However, my experience quickly turned into a nightmare.
When I took the puppy to Petland’s recommended vet, Forever Vets, they discovered multiple health issues. Not only did they fail to disclose these issues at the time of purchase, but they also completely mishandled the treatment. They prescribed medication based on an incorrect weight, overdosing my poor puppy by assuming he was 8 pounds when he was only 2.8 pounds! This gross negligence could have cost my puppy his life.
I had to rush my puppy to my own vet, who had to syringe-feed him, administer IV fluids, and closely monitor him to nurse him back to health. Petland, despite numerous attempts on my part to reach out, has been unresponsive and avoiding responsibility.
Meanwhile, Forever Vets continued to charge me for unnecessary treatments, totaling over $700, despite the puppy supposedly being covered under Petland's warranty. Their so-called “free” check-up ended up costing me a fortune for nothing but grief. The initial visit was supposed to be free and over everything. They didn’t address initial concerns and said to follow up the following day, only to charge more fees.
This entire experience has been a nightmare. Petland’s lack of care for the animals they sell, and their complete disregard for customer service is appalling. I would advise anyone considering purchasing a pet from Petland to think twice. You could be setting yourself up for heartache and financial ruin.
When I took the pup to the vet they admit the tech goes to peatland on Tuesday and helps unload the pups. Vaccinates them while also giving them steroids so the pups are healthy enough to be in the cage and goes back on Thursdays to sign off on the health certificate.when they claim they are cleaning them, they give them another shot or steroid so they are good until your out the 5 day period. They obviously get these pups from a puppy mill. When everyone says adopt don’t shop now I see why.
