Pretzel, my dog, loves coming here to this pet resort. She's very anxious when we leave her, but when we pick her up, she's all happy. We have been to the one by the airport and the one downtown. Both are excellent! I like the cameras they have available so whenever you want to check in on your pup, you can see how they're doing. We're so glad we have pet paradise for my pretzel when we're in the Jacksonville area.

It is so important to have a trust worthy place to board your pets when you go away. This is that place. Our yellow lab LOVES to go stay at Pet Paradise. She gets to go be a dog and play all day. She comes home exhausted and happy. The staff is friendly and they all appear to love their jobs.

First time taking our pup here, and we don’t know why we waited so long. She went in for a grooming and it’s the best job I’ve ever seen with attention to detail. Very lovely and helpful staff as well!

A place where they require all types of documents regarding the family pet, if there is no reliable evidence it will not be admitted for Grooming, stay or medical visit, the questions are sometimes absurd, the experience regarding the grooming of our dog was bad, They trimmed him down to the skin despite warning them that his race had to have a certain amount of hair, that they peeled it very little, such was the degree of the cut that in some parts of the body they left him with the skin without any hair, the visit was very disappointing. .

My dog is always happy after going there. He doesn't want to leave! The staff is nice and the place is clean and safe. Love the reports I get.

I have been going to this pet paradise for almost two years now and usually love it! But lately I have not been as satisfied. I made a reservation for a wacky Wednesday but was charged for a regular day and told there was pretty much nothing to be done about the $20 difference? Then my card on file was magically lost. Also asked for a nail trim when dropping her off last time and it was never done. Not sure what’s changed but sad to see as this has been our go to place for our pup :(

This location has earned a customer for life!!! They did amazing job in taking care of my cat. Exceeded my expectations on they handled him. Communication is on point when needing to know or following up with your pet.

Jenny was beyond wonderful. This will be my very first time boarding and I was so nervous needing to do this as I’m going out of town for the holidays. She made me so beyond comfortable with the facility and the procedures they take to ensure safety of the pets as best as possible. They give a free day camp so you can see if you dog is comfortable which I think is incredible. IT WAS SO SO CLEAN. I went to a vet that was dirtier than this place! You can tell they take the initiative to clean properly in here. Cannot wait for my dog to come over the holidays.

I have a dog with severe anxiety issues, and I love that I can rest assured that this location treats her with patience. they're very communicative and easy to reach during the day. Plus the cameras are q huge bonus

This is where you take your fur babies when they are part of your family. Visited the Vet at the Pet Paradise in University (Jax), the entire staff was great. Loved the Vet, Dr. Connolly, very knowledgeable and kind. I'm so happy to have finally found a clinic nearby where my furbabies and I can see the same Vet...and she's great.

Goliath loved being there. I never seen him so happy when I got him in the car. He so enjoyed his self and that's what makes me happy. He was tired when he got home, that's for sure.

I recently took my 1-year-old collie to Pet Paradise for his Meet the Fam visit. I was excited, thinking he would soon have a place to go each week while I am at work to have fun. Apparently, the staff did not expect me to be watching the cameras as diligently as I did after dropping him off. He spent almost 2-hours in his kennel initially. Then when he finally got into the yard to play, he was having so much fun and running. I watched the entire time he was outside and saw no negative behaviors. After around 5-minutes he was rounded up by an employee and taken back to his kennel. At that point, he was left in his kennel and no one so much as interacted with him for three hours. I ended up cancelling my plans early to pick him up after seeing him spending the entire day without any interaction in a cage as he watched every other dog get taken out for play/pets/fun. Seeing my baby look so dejected was heartbreaking. When I came to pick him up, he received a glowing report card about how good he was and how much he loved everyone and loved playing. The employees didn’t even know what to say when they realized I knew he was only outside for 5-minutes. It’s clear based on what I saw, the employees do not seem to know how to handle the dogs they are watching, so they respond by punishing energetic dogs for having fun, so they don’t have to deal with it. We won’t be coming back. Train your staff.
