I was having mechanical problems with my 2005 Corvette C6 and brought it into Ortega Car Care, it was making a loud squeaking noise, and it was overheating, the change oil light and check engine light was on. They got me in the schedule right away, I had the car towed in on Monday 8/19 in the afternoon, they explained what could possibly be the issues and would check it out completely. Tuesday morning they did their engine evaluation and what they found to be the problem , was the water pump was worn out and had to be replaced , and replace the water pump housing, gaskets , and belts and provided me a detailed very fairly priced estimate, which I approved, right away. They kept me informed by text daily. They had to order one part, the water pump, and it was delivered on Thursday, Friday morning they called that it was all fixed , I went and picked it up, Paul explained all the issues and showed me the worn out water pump, they did little detailed things that matter a lot ,like filling the coolant, they replaced a blown tag light bulb and did a oil change, all at no charge, it shows what a professional caring garage they are, providing fast outstanding, helpful reliable service ,that you can trust.
As long as I have the Corvette, they have a loyal customer for life!

My family and I have been using Ortega Car Care for a few years now and are continually satisfied with the owners honesty and quality of work. I've never left feeling like I could have received a better "deal" elsewhere. They can get you in quickly and complete the work in the time they say.

Excellent service. Brian let me know that there is some maintenance that needs to be done, and was never aware about it. Will be taking my SUV back soon to get the much needed maintenance taken care of.

So had my 82 corvette in Pau'ls shop for an oil leak. The valve cover gaskets were replaced. Picked up my car on Thanksgiving 2023. Parked it in my garage and did not drive since I picked it up. On December 23, 2023 I was going to give the vette a wash and backed it out of my garage to discover oil leak and small transmission drip. Texted Paul immediately and he texted back the same day. Paul ended up having the vette towed to his shop and fixed the oil pressue sending unit and replacing a small seal in the transmission. Went to pick it up on 12/29/23 and no charge for the tow, oil pressure unit and seal replacement. Totally awesome work and appreciative of Paul's word which is good as gold . . . Thanks Paul and Ortega Car Care!!!!!
Update, 8/3/24 still having oil leak and now the transmission is leaking, it is noticeable when the trans shifts from 1st to 2nd gear with a clunking type motion and sound . . . Also when they replaced the front passenger arm bracket they didn't even tighten the lug nuts on the front passenger tire, one of the lug nuts was loose to the touch . . . also they worked on the electric door locks now the driverside lock is falling out I had to put some gorilla packing tape over it to keep it from falling out. The mechanics there are not thorough . . . I do not trust the place and will never take it back there again . . . Sorry Paul but not satisfied with the work you did . . .

They were very professional and helpful in my time of need. They were my third shop to try to fix my car.They were honest and straightforward didn't give me the runaround like the previous shops, and kept me in the loop every step of the way Eventhough they were unable to get the parts for my vehicle due to them being discontinued by the manufacturer and unable to fix my car they were upstanding guys and helped me by giving me options and solutions to fix my dilemma.
