I did not cancelled our reservation for October 8, 2024 . Somebody called me and cancelled it for me as they were going to shut down the base .We did not have a place to stay. My wife is a breast cancer patient and she was not felling that great. We needed to rest in our way to NC, as we are from Florida, and we were evacuating due to the hurricane Milton. We had to go straight to NC without resting. We still on the road and we have 4 hours more to go. Thank you and God bless you.

This complaint goes more towards the customer service number. I had a confirmation for this hotel only to find out it wasn't an actual confirmation. The rooms were completely booked but was not informed even though I had a confirmation number. There needs to be better communication between the Navy Lodge and the Navy Lodge customer service number. I spent unnecessary money on Uber rides from the airport to the base.

Start this off with my wife and three kids (6/4/newborn) were in the room and I was not, however, I was on a Facebook video call when it happened.
My wife’s room had a hole in the wall that ants were coming through. They moved her room BUT did nothing to help her move the bags. Keep in mind, this woman is by herself with three kids at 2100+ (after 9pm) at night. I watched the kids through the video call but it took her over an hour and a half to get everything moved from the old room to the new room.
If you don’t have enough staff, then do a better job of quality control on the rooms. It is completely unacceptable to have a mother of three move bags for that long, or to have room in such rough shape that the need to move was even necessary.
Two stars vice one because they did give her a new room, which is good.

This place is terrible! There was some sort of Beige colored Millipede worm, Sticky floors, bed, and couches and a cockroach. Are you kidding?! I’ve went through your reviews and all you say is “I’m sorry we’ve failed you” “I’m sorry our dear guest. We are truly sorry we didn't meet your expectations” But do you actually change it? The whole thing looks like you do NOTHING at all to fix these problems because i've had similar one with this lodging. And do you guys actually clean the place? Like come on simple stuff, You should at least get rid of the bugs in the bathroom. This has scared my daughter so much to the point she walked around in her shoes, Scared to go to the bathroom and scared to go to bed thinking the millipede would crawl on her. I’d expect more of a response than “We are so sorry our dear guest that we have failed to your expectations” I haven’t seen you mention that you at least do something about these conflicts and all you do is apologize. There was also these rice looking grains around that I’ll assume thats the eggs for the millipede even if its not and just a rice grain it should be cleaned. Your probably just gonna has sorry and not that your working on it for trying to fix the solution. Overall this place is terrible Unclean, Sticky everywhere, Bad reviews, and all kinds of creatures scattered around. Simple stuff, Clean around the place, get rid of the bugs at least provide bug spray or something, and write responses better. This place is terrible me and my family are NEVER coming back.

The check-in process was fast, and lots of parking was available. Dont get me wrong, you might walk far. Rooms were decent size, and the workers were all nice. Nice kitchenette, but we didn't use the facilities. Breakfast is served from 6:30 am - 9 am. Have your ticket ready as they will ask for it. Overall, it was great accommodations for an overnighter.

A wonderful place. Not much traffic noise, kitchen area, nicely kept rooms and awesome staff. Should my family and I come back to the Jacksonville area, we will definitely stay here again.

Nice lodge. We stayed here 2 nights to catch a military space-a flight. Staff was excellent, hotel is clean and has free breakfast. I would not recommend staying here without a vehicle. The base isn't very walkable to get around, very spread out. There is no rental car companies on base (the Enterprise is no longer here), no Ubers can get on, the taxi companies with base access that the front desk recommended did not answer or we're not available when I needed them and there is no shuttle service on base (except for patriot express flights, only on the day of the flight). The only food option is Mulligans restaurant at the golf course, which is not a far walk.

This hotel is gross and the staff are absolutely not accommodating. The building is very old and they spent money to update the countertops instead of replacing the disgusting mattresses. Requesting housekeeping services get ignored just for them to ignore a do not disturb sign and enter your room without permission a few days later. Front desk staff just shrug their shoulders offering zero accountability.

First floor Rooms 120 to 104:These rooms have a rancid odor coming from the bathroom that can only be described as feces. Maintenance said the pipes all flow to a single point. House keeping says there is no way to fix the smell. I have febreeze almost on a continuous drip.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at this lodge. Very friendly and courteous staff, very nice room with kitchenette, and beautiful grounds and surroundings
