So far there is nothing negative I can say. They have always been helpful.
I took away one star due to I had a problem with my parents online banking and it was a hassle to find a solution and took forever.

Today I went to the bank to make my payment on my house loan and the discrimination was horrible, so I don't speak much English and the 3 women who are serving the window, even the one who speaks Spanish, was very racist and even laughed at me and told me everything. They made it hard. I think that people like that don't deserve to be serving other people. I'm paying, I'm not asking. I hope you take note and talk to those people who stop treating other people badly. Just because we don't know English doesn't mean they have to treat us less. seeing each other missing that is not done.

Navy Federal is over due for an investigation. They are notorious for charging hidden fees, never honor lower interest rates even though it was in writing. Agents are trained to give alternative explanations without documentation. I must screenshot all problems to provide information. Never received emails about changes to my credit card. Last year it was stated I had best interest rate at 9% for credit card. Today I was told my card was never a fixed rate all of a sudden I’m at 14% without notice

This bank lies, they will hold your money passed the 2 day hold period. Then they will use the excuse of "the Federal reserve" and never actually accommodate you. And then they hang up on you. They even have an automated response.

I love Navy fed…in the past they have always gone above and beyond to meet my needs. However lately the customer service has become sub par, I went into the bank near the avenues to complete a transaction and the rep was very ‘nice nasty’ borderline unprofessional. I kept asking for an explanation as to why the transaction could not be completed she just kept saying that’s the way it is. I left feeling like I wanted to end all of my business dealings with Navy Fed… the only reason I didn’t is because I’ve been with them for over 10 years! This wasn’t the first negative interaction that either a member of my family or I have experienced lately.

The dealership just beat NFCU’s used car loan interest rate by a percent in Sept 2023. I’ve had numerous less than spectacular experiences in the branches over the last few years and today 2 employees at the Avenues Walk branch again showed how little NFCU values my business. I’ve been with them for years but am going to find a financial institution to switch my family’s accounts to that provides better customer service. Usually this drive-through is fine for simple cash withdrawals, I need specific denominations that I can’t get from the ATM. However, today it was taking so long that customers were getting out of their cars yelling (stressful but it was really taking that long) and there was a mistake made with the cash I was given so I went inside to resolve it. I’m not even mad at drive thru teller id D3992 who made the mistake- I think she was running a station inside plus the drive thru which is insane- poor customer service, leadership. A white lady at the 2nd desk on the right inside and Sarrah at a teller station inside provided extremely lacking service. Why is there passive aggressive attitude when I’m a member simply making a withdrawal from the bank? I was the one being inconvenienced -they’re getting paid for their time, not me. This is the final straw.
