I have to say, I don’t know if I will be coming back after my last visit, and I have been coming to this location for over 12 years. I love the atmosphere and the prices have always been affordable. I decided to spend a little more and get a gel manicure for my birthday. In a few days I had chips off the tips of 4 nails! I expect that from a regular manicure but not after paying $35 plus tip for a gel manicure! I am very disappointed. I may still come for my pedicures, but I am not paying for another manicure!

Right before my vacation, my nail polish chipped on one of my toe nails. Even though they were about to close, they repaired my nail. Good as new! Good customer service is hard to find, especially when you are in a jam! I am so appreciative they took the time to fix my nail. Thank you!

I felt very conflicted on whether to post this review, but the last several times I’ve been into Nail Time it has been a very different experience than the ones prior.
My daughter and I have been getting our nails done there for the past few years. We don’t have a specific technician as we’ve been pleased with them all, and Jenny seems to always have a wait. We even celebrated my daughter’s birthday last year with a group of her friends getting pedicures there and it was great, but today’s experience was enough to not return.
I got my usual gel hot stone pedicure and gel manicure. I’ve noticed the last few times, that one person will start the pedicure and then at the very end, when only the nails need to be painted, another person will come over to complete. The second lady, the finisher if you will, painted all over my toes and then proceeded to clip the excess paint off instead of taking a paint brush and clean them off. This second lady started on my gel manicure. She cut my nails too short, and when I noted they were too short after the first few, she told me that they were uneven and needed to fix. During the manicure she spilled nail polish remover all over the station. She painted my nails fairly quickly, never took the time to clean up with a smaller paint style brush around the cuticles. I asked her to fix multiple nails at least two times, one at least three times, before I realized it was not going to get better. She told me that she couldn’t fix bc my nails were too small (which I told her she was cutting too short), and that my fingers were too dry and she couldn’t do better. I just wanted her to finish. I paid and she asked if I had cash for tip, which I provided for the very first person who did 90% of the gel pedicure. I paid and left with no intention of returning. After reading some of these reviews and the Google ones, I’m glad I didn’t waste more time in trying to get it fixed. I came home and every nail was easily peeled up in one stroke. I’ve never had this technician before but I hope that no one else has the same experience as me.

Pedicure was fine. Manicure was thick and clumpy. I went back the next day and explained to the lady that I had gotten my nails done last night and that they really needed to be redone. When I was seated with the nail tech from the night before they proceeded to put more coats on top. I explained they all need to be redone. Putting extra coats does not fix it. I ended up trying to leave only to be grabbed from across nail table. I asked to be let go and I pulled away and walked out. Both my daughter and I went in for mani and pedi. Went over the bridge to Julington creek for a color change. I won’t be back.

Went here and got a fill in and toes polished (not a pedicure) when it was time to pay was charged 130.00. for just a fill in and polish on toes. This shop Rob's their customers. They DO NOT appreciate your patronizing them. Go somewhere else.

Took my daughters (8 and 10) here for a dip set. Both nail techs were so nice and caring to them. This was both of my girls professional manicure and they loved it. Their nails came out so good and they can't wait to go back!

I always come here to get my nails done. They always do an amazing job. They also do a great job with eyebrow waxes. Never burning me like other places

My friends and I had a very uncomfortable experience here. The lady doing my toes was very rude and even let my pedicure water overflow onto the floor! She was arguing with me when I asked if she can ask how long for them to start on my friends nails and kept saying she can go up and ask the manager. Obviously we do not know who the manager is so this was just lazy and unprofessional in my opinion. The only person here who knows what they are doing is the manager herself. Horrible experience, we will not return.

Arrived and approached the desk to inquire about a pedicure and was abruptly greeted by the man at the reception desk. When asked about pedicure and whether they could accommodate me as a walk in without an appointment he just disappeared to return with someone from the work area behind reception who walked around looked at me in a judging way said something in her native tongue and shot back around the wall. 2 more quickly came around to stare at me as if I had an offensive tattoo on my face or disfiguring mark(which I do not) also to flurry away talking to one another as if I disturbed the hive. The guy at the desk still harsh in his approach said it will be 30min which I said that was fine and took a seat. All of a sudden 3 different ladies came to the reception area looked me over spoke to one another in thier native language and continued back to thier work area. They were not terribly busy but obviously had time to break and come up to judge me or whatever the process is for them to choose who was doing your pedicure. I was not the only person they did this too, they did it to everyone, so I didn't feel singled out. Once I did get back to my pedicure it was good as always. They were nice and did a great job. I just wish that they wouldn't make you feel like you were imposing on them when you come in for a service.

They do a bait and switch. One person will do the clipping part and then another Will do the painting. I went with my mom and all 4 ppl expected a tip at the end of 10 dollars or more which really isn't fair when they keep switching off. I liked the first tech didn't like the second at all she cut me and had sharp nails that dug into my skin. Very expensive too cost 165 for 2 pedicures and one manicure. It was also extremely show, just the manicure took one hour. I'll be looking for a new place.

Beautiful work. Tech was very detailed and careful with nails. Always available when I walk in without appointment. Quiet tech but very professional. Also had chocolates for the clients.

The worst pedicure I've gotten, ever.Highly recommend that you go to the other location instead, on Baymeadows.
