Frustrating institution. After 17 years I'm going to help myself to a new credit union. Among other issues, I want everyone to know If it's a holiday you won't get your money untill the day after. Even if your company post it early. This place used to be great.

Wasn’t a member but came in to withdrawal money from my Jax Fed account. I was immediately greeted by smiling faces. Even the manager came out to say good morning. Workers like those are hard to come around these days.

This is a great credit union for anyone in business. I went to check them out to see what they had to offer. I will be going back in to move my business account here. Self-Help is a family of two credit unions, a nonprofit loan fund, and an advocacy group. They are also a designated community development financial institution. That means their members enjoy all the benefits of belonging to a credit union while also supporting the larger mission to expand opportunities for underserved communities. They lend to businesses and nonprofits, including these: Small businesses that generate jobs and contribute to community wealth. Public charter schools, child care centers and faith-based organizations. Nonprofits and affordable housing developments Commercial real estate projects that invigorate downtown areas and neighborhoods.
