This is a locally owned family business and we treated professionally and warmly like we were part of the family from the moment we walked thru the door. We were looking at portable wheelchairs and they were very knowledgeable and accommodating. Cameron even put it in my trunk and backseat before we purchased, although I am sure he knew it would fit.Excellent serviceThey really care.They give back to the communityWhen the time comes, we will be getting the lift chair there too.

The team at the Home Ability Store are just amazing. They make you feel at home when you first walk-in. They listen attentively to you to understand your unique needs then they make their recommendation of the perfect solution. One thing I noticed in the store is that they only carry great quality products at very competitive prices. They also offer custom solutions. Customer service is excellent. Auburn is so friendly and very patient with helping my dad find the right lift chair that was comfortable for him! We will be back soon for a mobility scooter. Recommend this place 100%!!

I was desperately searching for someone to put in a set of batteries for my client's wheelchair and I could not find anyone that could do it asap! We were panicking because his chair was losing power fast like 20% dropped in less than 1hr so time was of the essence so I tried one last place, Home Ability Store, and Steve answered and said normally he doesn't work on my client's chair type but he ended up finding the batteries and scheduling me to come in the very next day! He really saved us from disaster and thanks to Steve and his staff my client can actually go out and about now!! So thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

People with disabilities need space to try equipment. There is no space. Everyone was friendly. It was just very difficult to maneuver any of the equipment I was interested in.

I rented a golden lift chair for shoulder surgery here and my only regret is not keeping it a month longer 4 instead of 3 mths. They have a great showroom with many options and sizes of chairs. The chairs are super comfortable for sleeping when u have surgery restrictions. Customer service was exceptional. You won’t go wrong on quality or service here

I had surgery on my tailbone and bought the coccyx pillow and a toilet riser with handles to help me with mobility and ease, both were a lifesaver during my recovery! The staff members were so nice and quick in their responses. Additionally, I’d visited a few other stores first looking for things that would help but found that they didn’t have much in stock; this place has a whole floor of different chairs and what feels like hundreds of different mobility accessories! I’d definitely recommend.

I’m from Savannah, GA and was traveling to Jacksonville for a football game and my bother needed a scooter for the day. I called several different companies trying to get service however because of our tight schedule none were able to accommodate our needs or schedule. After speaking with Mr. Steve, the owner and explaining what was needed, he went out of his way to not only accommodate us but, to provide my brother with the much-needed equipment. I needed to purchase a lift chair for an upcoming surgical procedure ( a reverse total shoulder) and found these guys near us.They had an excellent showroom with lots of different options and I wound up buying a Golden recliner/lift chair. I also needed to rent a wheelchair after the surgery and they also do that! The inventory is great and the people are as well, I would recommend this store to anyone!

The service is second to none. Whether they sell you a chair or mobility scooter they stand 100% behind their products and will go to great lengths to make sure you are satisfied. I feel like they really take it personal. They were prompt and professional in diagnosing the problem then had the part overnighted and installed immediately.
