Horrible experience. They ran out of cars and didn’t make any attempt to contact me. I spent $30 taking an Uber to their location and they made no attempt to contact me and tell me they had nothing available. Don’t take my reservation in the first place, but if you do, email or call me to say not to come. They then told me I would be put on a waitlist to get a car, and here I am three days later still with no car. I called them yesterday to see where I was on the waitlist, I had to call five time before anyone answered, and even then they said they would call back and never did. Now they are closed today. Consistently bad customer service in every interaction and no foresight or basic ability to manage their reservations. I’ve had no communication with the branch and the National customer service hotline is useless. DONT RENT FROM HERE.

One of my Bucket list i wanted to rent a Tesla, So I did. It was a nightmare. As I see it
So the day before pickup I called to make sure I was getting a tesla and the guy said he didn't have one and he wasn't sure if he was gonna get one, so he said I'll call you back before 5. We'll steve never called. So the next day before pickup I called and called and I finally got thru. At 830am, If I hadn't I was gonna cancel, my pickup was at 9 I got there at 10 only cause i wanted a tesla not a similar to...I didn't walk out till 1030. The guy got me all setup showed me some things in the car but he wasn't very clear on a few things.. I wasn't sure how to get into the charging bay.. and he had mentioned I was renting for a wk. I corrected him and said 5 days.. hmmm. We'll when I was returning in the car he decided to let me know I could have kept the car for 2 more days.. So as I see it I paid for 7 days and only got 5. I'm the renter so I wasn't sure of the language he was speaking.. as I see it Hertz is taking from the customer. This should have been more clear. But then he said you could have seen this online. I told him going online it wanted me to agree to cookies for my info to be sold on the market. So I didnt go online but he could have been more clearer on my options..
On the other side of that issue..
The car was nice, fun, flashy, different, a learning experience, nice to use from your phone at the tesla app. Lots of trunk and frunk space, quite, rides smooth.. etc it was a good experience..
But the charging was pricey..
A full charge is about 20.00 which is the same as using a half a tank of gas in my honda. So to fill my honda it's about 42 dollars..I drove 465mile and spent 63 dollars.. as I see it I'm not saving money on gas it's the same. I charged up to 100% and before I can drive 1 mile home it was at 99%.. where is the savings.. a Tesla should be able to last longer on a charge.. this car shouldn't be for just going home and to wk.. oh.. I also tried to charge from hm.. it was on 48% and it told me it was gonna be 20hrs to full.. hmm. The rented tesla's should have a fast charger at home if that's what a renters wanted to do..
Also I wanted all or any recorded things from the car deleted... He never helped me look that up to delete. Yet he could take a phone call and go check on things for a caller.. customer first I thought was the rule.. hmmm or to ask the customer is there anything else he can help me with.. Customer serv at the Southside location is laking and needs attention... HERTZ !!
Got a response from hertz.. computer generated.. this isn't a proper response for a business trying to strive.. I don't want to be swept under the rug. I would like a call from DM on this matter. My info is in your system please contact me.. thx.. I'll be looking for your contact.

Devin deserves a raise! He was the only person working, but he made sure he attended to everyone in a timely manner while remaining professional. I've rented from here a couple of times and the car has always been clean with the gas tanks full. Thanks for making my trips easy!

Their ac was out at the location I reserved at, so on the day of pick up. I experienced a delay of 2.5 hours. The car was dirty and on E. With no time to wait and complain, due to the delay. When I returned, the car was with twice the amount of gas, and I advised my concerns. They told me they could not discount or credit my rental. They offer a $25 certificate for my future rental. I advise I don’t rent from them often, so this was not the best choice for resolving the problem. They told me it’s nothing else they can do.

Worst rental car experience. It took over an hour for them to get our rental car. There was only one person waiting in the lobby ahead of us, and one person working. Another worker decided to help after we had waited about 30 minutes and finally helped us. They didn’t have the type of car we reserved either so they downgraded us but charged the same amount.

This is the best location to book a car and not get a car when you arrive … the “office” is a desk in the waiting room of a parts store buried in a Lincoln dealership … no parking … and the agent cannot cancel reservations … lol … you have to call hertz … sit on hold for 30 minutes and hope someone can cancel reservation … avoid

Have now rented from this location on multiple occasions over the last few months. The staff-Steve in particular-has been very accommodating and helpful. Very pleased overall with my experiences here. Thank you Steve and thank you Hertz!

Give Steve a raise! When I rented my car and dropped it off a week later, both times he was the only one here and he did a great job helping me and everyone else. I had great service, a clean car, no problems whatsoever. Steve needs a raise and a paid vacation. Great guy.

Got rental from Hertz via Key Buick Service ( awful service dept / Becky is terrible) the Hertz car smelled so bad ,I was barely able to drive it. Took more than a week to get swapped into something else.
