Singular staff member was fine. But with confirmed booking from Hertz showed up to no cars. Why the heck can we make a reservation and have no cars available. Cue the Seinfeld episode! So disappointed.

Well this was the worse experience by far. I booked a rental for the weekend and received confirmation of my booking days prior to arriving in Jacksonville that Saturday. I got an Uber to the establishment from the airport. I got to the rental store and the door was locked. I went to the repair shop next door and the desk attendant told me Hertz was closed and they had been run out of cars days ago. I was appalled. I called Hertz and they told me the Hertz location should have been opened but it wasn't. My first ever disappointment from Hertz. There were many other customers that were disappointed that day too.

There service was slow and I book a card 2 days in advance. I got to the office the representative took over 25 mins for me to get my rental and they charge me a additional 30 dollars for the car they had , poor experience unfortunately it was my only choice

I explicitly asked if there where any “convince fees” for using the toll by plate on the rental. The employee said no and said those fees are ridiculous. I was then charged a $30+ dollar “convenience fee”. Shady business practice.

I recently had an absolutely awful experience with Hertz in Jacksonville that left me feeling frustrated and let down. Despite making a reservation well in advance, I was shocked to discover that the car I had reserved was not available when I arrived at the Hertz location. This mishap completely disrupted my plans and caused a great deal of inconvenience.To make matters worse, instead of finding a solution for their mistake, I was simply told that there were no other cars available and I would need to seek alternatives on my own. I was directed to walk over a mile to the nearest Enterprise location to rent a car. Not only did this unexpected detour consume valuable time, but it also forced me to pay double the price of my initial reservation. As a customer, I expected Hertz to honor their commitment and provide the vehicle I had reserved. This lack of reliability and disregard for my reservation made me question the integrity of their service. Additionally, the additional cost I had to bear due to Hertz's failure further added to my disappointment.I understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, but it is the responsibility of a reputable car rental company like Hertz to have proper contingency plans in place. Their inability to provide a car despite a confirmed reservation is simply unacceptable.Overall, my experience with Hertz in Jacksonville was an utter disappointment. Not only did they fail to meet their basic obligations, but they also forced me to incur unnecessary expenses and inconveniences. I strongly advise against relying on Hertz for car rentals, as they clearly lack the commitment to fulfill their promises and provide reliable service.

Gave my daughter a ride here for a reservation that she'd made for a car and there was no Hertz representative there. The man there said, we were the 8th person to arrive and couldn't be helped because he didn't work for Hertz.

Terrible service, no communication. A reservation means nothing. No vehicles were available upon arrival (or after a 2 hour wait). Go elsewhere.

National OVERBOOKED their rentals and I was left with NOTHING to drive at the airport! I called all over and finally got to this location which is less then 10 mins away from the airport. Lee Lee was the best ever! She was the only person there and they were so busy with returns and more rentals but she handled everything to the best of her ability! I appreciate you Lee Lee! You are the hardest working person at Hertz!! They better do you right and make sure you get a raise because you are literally doing it ALL BY YOURSELF!!!! You are appreciated, thank you for all that you do!!!

Absolutely atrocious customer service. I had a reservation, my Uber dropped me off from the air port. The manager shrugs when I walk in and says they are out of cars and can't do anything to help me and I should call another Uber and figure it out somewhere else. Then I watched him do the same thing to to elderly women and another couple. All of us where told it wasn't his problem that there computer system doesn't update and to leave his store.

SCAMMERS!!!! I hope this company goes bankrupt like the 2020 article stated. (Reservation under my married name, sky schudalla)I had booked a reservation for a car in order to see my grandpa before his open heart surgery. He may not make it because they are doing a dangerous operation right after he had a stroke.I booked a car for 8:30 a.m. and I got a call at 8:15 that Hurtz did not have a vehicle in my class that I had already paid for! Then I asked if they could upgrade me because it was Time Critical, that my grandfather isn’t doing well, they said yes. However, when I got to the rental company they said even though I paid for it online I could not pick up the car unless I paid with a credit card. I asked them for a refund, and they said there is Absolutely nothing they can do at the store location to refund me, they referred me to an automated phone call that hangs up on you and tells you to go on line to edit reservations, then I called Hurtz back because there is no possible way to speak to a human on the number he gave me. He gave me another number, it did the same thing!! I’m sure it’s possible to get a refund if you stay on the phone for 3hours, but it is much easier to AVOID Hurtz and just go to enterprise where they give you all the information you need to know upfront before you pay! Worst company ever. They tried to blame the third party, but the only charge from the third party was collision protection for 26$ and they easily refunded me.
