Seriously.. BEST Gate in Jacksonville, being a small parking lot, with gravy traffic and terrible traffic lights during rush hour MUST have people tripping because as far as Gates go THIS one should be the example.. fast, friendly and service with a smile, make sure to see my man Vod at 3 am and tell him your life story, he loves sitting there helping folk through whatever they are going through and he said himself he loves a good life story ??

So it’s pouring raining and what really has me annoyed is my husband and I pull up to the pump to see the older lady dealing with the trash but there is 2 guys one out there smoking and one talking to the guy while he was smoking both worked there and one of them couldn’t of done the trash it was filled to the top and they were a lot younger then she is I guess they are taking classes from Walmart I guess

Typical for a gate gas station. Little more expensive than some other chains however usually well stocked and clean.

Most ghetto Gate gas station on the Southside - probably the most ghetto gas station on the Southside period. I've been in here a few times when I get out too late to make it to my regular convenient store. No longer. I have never been in this store and not either been glared at by the staff or had to listen to them complain as if I'm there to give them therapy. We are not paid enough as customers to deal with that.

The lady helping at cashier was not her fault she was super sweet but i came here to use remainder of my giftcard and also had a dollar off coupon and wasnt until after trying a couple of times the machine for payment wasnt working and apparently wasnt working before and i couldnt make my purchase and it also made it seem like i used my coupon already. Im guessing the manager had walked by and she asked about it and he was like he didnt know and if cash payment was an option then walked away. Did not even try to look at it

Oct 23 at 9am went in to get couple of snacks and the male and the female employees working gave me dirty looks from the jump. I blame half of this rude and bad behavior on the owner and management. They should be letting these sorry cashier's know their paychecks comes from the money we customers spend. Clean house and start with the right workers that has a good attitude and friendly personality.

Supervisor by the name Jennifer at store 1191. Leaves teeth hanging around the store. And handles customer money and items without washing hands. Which is unsanitary.

They have competitive prices because they are competing with Speedway across the street. If you want coffee, they have very good regular coffee.

Blows my mind how I go into a store say helloShe is looking me straight in the eye and can’t say hello back Then hand the money to cashier and they put it in the counter and push it to me She stamps my drink card and pushes it back to me I say THANK YOU NO RESPONSE. I take my change and say THANK YOU still NO RESPONSE only thing she said to me was the total for my drink and said it so softly I didn’t even hear her So sorry I disturb her standing there doing nothing Guaranteed I will not visit this store again Speedway across the street and the other corner there’s a Circle K

I have been coming to this location for over 10 years but lately with the new staff that comes in in the afternoon this place has been going downhill customer service is at a zero you walk in the ladies are always on the phone never smile always have an attitude people walk in and waiting in line for no reason they have to wait until she gets off the phone. Old staff was 100 times better you would think they would get their stuff in control being that competition is coming up around the area it's sad to see this place go downhill it was the first stop by making the day and the last stop I would make in my day for my coffee

This particular Gate Gas Station is located just off of 95 on Bowden Road. It has definitely seen better days, the service is friendly and the prices are competitive prices. The big advantage to this gas station is that it is just off of 95. This makes for a very convenient easy on and easy off gas stop, pretty much a gas up and hit the road again. There are also several restaurants not far from this particular location, so if you want to tie this gas stop into a meal stop, as well. Again, this location has definitely seen better days and would probably benefit from a facelift. There are a lot of gas stations in this area and this one would be easy to overlook. So while I would recommend it, I would also recommend to upper management to take some time and give this place the attention it deserves and make it look like it's a viable gas station. If not, I'm afraid that it could fall to the wayside, forgotten and looking neglected. So the next time you are driving down 95 I need gas and happened to be by the Bowden Avenue exit in Jacksonville, Florida, take the exit and give this place to try. Hopefully by then, it will be looking a lot better.
