Bait and switch. The salesman that I was dealing with said, over and over again, That I would be getting a free roof. No money out of pocket. Once the insurance came through with the approval the story changed. When I called to cancel, they sent me an invoice for $3,000 for cancellation. I'm now reading some reviews about this franchise saying that they're leining peoples houses over work that hasn't been done. Total scammers. They're doing business in my area as Florida Roof Specialists.

After listening to my neighbors horrible experience I would not recommend this roofing contractor. There roof didn't leak until the new roof was installed. Now they have 2 leaks and water damage on there wall and another coming down the microwave vent and dripping on the oven. Takes forever for them to come out and fix issues.

Summit originally came to repair an emergency leak over our new bathroom. They then came over and negotiated with the insurance agent, after which we got an entire new roof all paid for (minus deductible). Their workers are prompt, efficient, and work very clean. The entire project with new plywood and skylights was done in two days. Summit is one of the best contractors I've ever had work on my home.

Florida Roof and Solar was an amazing company to work with in 2020 during the aftermath of Hurricane Sally. They installed a beautiful roof and was very efficient. I had some issues with money with my insurance company and paying the roofers on time but Donna worked with me and they stayed on top of my insurance company for payments. I definitely recommend this company.

Nobody has anything good to say about this company. I wish I did my homework before they did my roof. I was quoted 10,000$ to replace my shingles. And 20,000$ later... live and learn. Please people hire a decent roofing company and not Florida roof and solar

Definitely give summit 5 ⭐️ They have a great team. Jovany is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice with my roof during the inspection. The process was very smooth and I liked the communication and being part of the process the whole way through. Thank you guys!!

Summit roofing did an outstanding job replacing our roof. The process was fast, efficient and painless. They are very pleasant to work with, the communication and follow up was great. Would recommend them to anyone, they will walk you through all the steps needed and answer every question without hesitation.

Had a leak during a 3 day weekend, right before a large storm was about to hit. Sam and team came to our house quickly accessed the damage we had, helped us get the roof covered and prepared for the storm. The team was so helpful walking us first time home buyers through the process of dealing with our insurance. The team who worked on our roof and inside damage did and amazing job caring for our pets and plants while working on the roof and ceiling. I wish I could give more stars for this company and the service team. Thank you for all your help and making the process a breeze!

The finished roof is beautiful and passed inspection. The crew was polite and picked up their own trash. That much we appreciate. However, I am giving them only three stars for the following reasons: At the end of the job when the metal rake was being used to pick up nails, one of the crew members walked through the garden in front of the living room window with no regard for the plants that were there, and several were trampled. The area is only three feet deep and could have easily been raked without walking into it. A blower was used to clear the roof of nails when they were done; however, I noticed several that did not get blown off. Pieces of wood and tar paper were left in the yard, and we have picked up close to 40 roofing nails from the front, side and back of the house. One nail still through a piece of tar paper was discovered in the middle of the yard when a box was set down on it. Two more were discovered when they pierced the sole of my shoe. My sister was on-site for the entire job. She advised me that the crew was very careful placing nails prior to the inspector's visit. After the inspector left, even though the tiles looked appropriately placed, care using the nail gun seemed haphazard in comparison. John mentioned that the crew members were eager to finish the job, as they were driving home that night and not staying over. That is not an excuse to give less care to the post inspection work, or to the clean-up. The crew used our furnace vent cap as a tool holder, continuing to do so after the top plate was bent and portions of the lip broke. I was reimbursed $50, although that amount is not near enough to cover the cost of a replacement for that particular style. Some of the shingles were buckled. When I asked about that, I was told that they would flatten out. They haven't.

They do an amazing job! I give them 10 stars! They made sure they did everything by the books they also have great friendly workers. They make sure everything is cleaned up before they leave and they don’t leave until the work is finished! Summit roofing I will recommend you to people.

Florida Roof and Solar did a great job from start to finish. They worked with our Insurance company and kept us up-to-date on the process. They finished the replacement roof quickly. Staff was very friendly and professional. Happy I chose them!Services: Roof inspection
