We had an amazing experience with Nick at Grid Mortgage. He was super speedy and we got a fantastic rate in this crazy time. From beginning to end there were no hitches or setbacks. To say this was a completely different experience from our previous lender who cancelled us is the understatement of the century. My fiancé used him in the past and had zero issues. 5 stars for communication, efficiency, kindness, and results!! I have used Nick Gruen for a previous mortgage and also had a great experience. Nick is very hands on and involved in the process himself. He's extremely knowledgeable about the process and eased our minds after a terrible experience with a previous lender who cancelled our contract after 3 months. He quickly picked up the pieces, got us a fantastic rate, and we closed in 2 weeks. He was very sympathetic to our needs and concerns due to the previous lender and ensured that situation was in the past. It certainly was. Jim is a very honest and knowledgeable man. He helped us with our VA refinance. This was the easiest process in all of our home buying/refinance during our 60 plus years of home ownership. He always answered my questions and was very accessible at all hours of the day, even on the weekends.
