Caution!! I hesitated to share our poor experience until they had an opportunity to correct a wrong. Upon receiving their offer for our inconvenience and damage of $79, it was time to warn anybody considering this company to move them.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FATHER & Son. Packed our goods in Dec 2018. Had delivered to our new home in Nov 2023. In their storage in between pack and delivery. Many thousands of dollars spent in both moves and storage charges in between.
The damage to our mattress, bed frame, bench along with missing items was incredible. Delivery took two trips as they "lost" 1/3 of our items in storage and had to make a 2nd trip.
Offered us $79 compensation for our troubles and damage. Have to have the offer notarized, so actual is less than that.
Below is one example of the damage we experienced.
I've never done business with someone that does not take personal accountability as lightly as this business.
Avoid at all cost.

Please don't use this location of this moving company. They took a $100 security deposit from my son and will not return it. They also charged $500 to move two items four miles and chipped/damaged it and the door jamb and walls of his brand new apartment. They also showed up two hours late because their truck broke down and they charged my son the time to get it up and running again. If I could give this business zero stars I would.

Brandon and Michael Hudnell did an amazing job moving us to a new apartment. The were quick, took extreme care with everything we had and made sure all our items were protected. What a professional job. I used another moving company on my last move, I will not going forward. If you need a great company this is the one!

Moved in June of 2022 before i hired them i asked about their insurance etc . The office person said they were fully insured and would repalce anything broken. I had bedroom furniture that evry peice of it was scratched chipped as if it had been dropped the bedroom set costed me 15 thousand dollars . Structural integrity gone from being miss handled by movers. White chairs were brand new had stains on them once they got them to the new residence . But go figure. PLEASE IM BEGGING U TO RUN NOT WALK AWAY FROM USING THEM IF U VALUE YOUR ITEMS because when i tried to go through their claims process they wanted me to call vendors to fix the items , Chairs still not cleaned . They are not a member of the BBB.

I would give them a negative rating if I could! I should of canceled once I saw all the terrible reviews, but on Google they had semi decent reviews. I’ve hired 2 moving companies in the past and they were great! Unfortunately they were booked for the day I needed to move. So I called All My Sons for a quote. Their hourly rate was a little higher compared to some companies but they didn’t have a truck fee so I was ok with it. The day of the move they showed up around 8:45. Probably took 30 minutes to do the paper work so they didn’t actually start doing anything until 9:15, but I started paying at 8:45. The movers were painfully slow carrying one small thing at a time and they were constantly on their phones. They destroyed the walls on the rental we were moving out of. It took them 4 hours to load everything up and they didn’t even take everything that they were supposed to. Once they got to the new house I had to pay before they unloaded. I was shocked when he said the total would be $1700! Like WHAT! I’ve never paid more than $900 to move the same if not more amount of stuff! So I asked for a breakdown. Much to my surprise there was a $230 fee for gas for the truck which is basically a truck fee with a different name , they called it “tax” and it was 16% and a little over $100 for “supplies” which I don’t know how accurate that was and no other company I’ve used has ever charged for supplies! Then he swiped my card, said it didn’t go through because of the app they used, and swiped it again! I got DOUBLE CHARGED! They charged my card $3400 and just said it be a few days before the one charge would be refunded! They did a horrible job unloading everything… Just threw it wherever… Even though it was all clearly marked and I told them where it all went. They lost brackets and screws, nicked almost every piece of furniture they touched, and they didn’t even offer to re-assemble the 2 beds. On top of all of this a piece of my property went MISSING while they were in my house. I called the “office” which just gets redirected to a call center so it was incredibly hard to get a hold of anyone. A police report was made but the company just brushed it off. Please do yourself a favor and NEVER NEVER NEVER give this company a penny of your money!

Worst movers ever. From the 2 Different crews in fighting between them to one of the drivers smoking pot to arriving at our new home to find police surrounding one of the trucks. Apparently the driver didn't want to wait for the gate code and drove through the security arms. Everything was horrible including the packing. Multiple things broken. Different items from different rooms in a box marked completely differently than what the contents were. Things like coffee pots were not emptied of water before they packed them. I'll let these photos speak for themselves

The movers were on time and efficient. That part was great. After that it went downhill. They took much longer than estimated to move my stuff. When I asked one of the movers about it, I was told that it was because they usually have 3 or 4 men for a move with my amount of stuff. Okay, understandable. Maybe that was my fault. Perhaps I wasn't clear on the amount of stuff I had. So I move on. The entire time they are moving my stuff out and loading it up, they are hitting things against walls and the door which became extremely scuffed because of that. Okay, that's fine. I'll just get a magic eraser and clean up after them. That's fine. I move on. As long as my stuff is not damaged. We get to my new house and they begin unloading things. That's when I find out that my stuff is, in fact, damaged. My dining room table incurred deep scratches from screws, a bar cart had a handle ripped off and the wheels were bent so it didn't stand up properly, my bookcases had deep cuts on them, and my 75 inch tv no longer works. It powers on but they damaged the screen to an irreparable state. They also damaged my hallway trim, paint, a door, and a window I now have to replace. On top of that, the workers left their tools and a moving blanket at my house. Instead of coming back to get it, one of the movers texted me and asked me to drop the stuff off at the warehouse for him. Now, I agreed because I wanted to be nice and hoped they would work with me to get everything sorted. I filed a claim and all I asked for was the cost to replace my tv and nothing else. They offered me $200 and refused to do anything else. $200 comes nowhere close to the cost of the tv. I highly recommend not using this company for any future move unless you would like your items damaged and not replaced.

Everything they touched, they broke. This was an unnecessarily stressful experience! I would rate the job the movers that were sent to my place as negative star rating, if I could. It was bordering criminal intent to destroy property. My move was scheduled for June 13, the movers knew about the move at least two months in advanced, when I called in April for the original quote and paid them a deposit of $100 to book the move. The company called back two weeks later and changed the original quote from two guys to three, because it was quoted as a large job. All they were moving was a one bedroom apartment, with large hallways and a large elevator. There were no appliances being moved. There were no glass cabinets or anything other than a sectional sofa, which the chase can be detached, a coffee table, two end tables, pub table and four chairs, two counter height bar stools, one full-sized bed, one desk, and two night stands--- a large job. The company called a couple more times since then and each time provided a different quote. Two days before the move, they "lost my paperwork" and had to prepare another quote. Three men took three hours to move a one bedroom apartment with large hallways and a very large elevator, only one mile straight down the road. I had already moved all the boxes but a couple of wardrobe boxes and six banana boxes that were already stacked against the wall in the kitchen ready to go. There was nothing for them to move but furniture, listed above and I had already gave them a flat screen TV, because I didn't need it. They had large hallways and a very large elevator to work with. Everything they touched they broke. They showed up without tools and told me, "everyone knows that you are supposed to supply the movers with tools, everyone knows that!" Obviously this is not true--everyone knows that! It was as though I was sent three unsupervised children. They delayed the first 1/2 hour waiting around for paperwork to be sent to them, and they charged me while they stood around, walked around, and disappeared for that 1/2 hour. Once they began working, they were disrespectful to me, the other residences at the move from location by barricading the entrance and exit to and from the elevators. Their excuse for barricading the entrance and exit with my furniture and not allowing people on and off the elevators was , "those people are so lazy, they can walk and take the stairs." They had large hallways there was no excuse for the furniture to barricade the elevator doors. They were dragging furniture across the floor, and mocked me when I asked them not to drag the furniture, because it scratches the floors. Then they told me that I "shouldn't just stand around watching and doing nothing!" I heard them mutter a few times profanity under the breath about me. One of them told me to put the case on the mattress that he gave me, and then they all disappeared to sit in the truck and hang out by the pool, or just walk around. It was like herding cats. They kept disappearing to sit in the truck. They even argued with me about following me to the move to location, one mile down the road. They said, "we have the GPS we know how to get there, we don't need to follow you for anything." I stated, "I have the gate key and the key to my place, I need to let you in." All my furniture was new and well taken car of; until they arrived at the move to location, they only had one stair case to move up. Before they began, they said, "you have to pay before we begin unloading the truck and moving your furniture up the stair case." This was just around 10:45 am. They made me pay until noon, but left by 11:30. They were dropping my furniture on the the stairs, they bashed in corners of the desk, broke the draws and a leg, they broke the feet off the patio furniture by jamming it into the top of the coffee table, and denting the coffee table, they scratched floors by dragging furniture, and banged the sides of the entrance ways scratching the entr

This place is garbage. DO NOT USE THEM. The movers were professional and worked hard, but their manager is a joke. I had to argue with him about a military discount even though he said he'd give one. I had everything boxed and ready to go, they used one box for the glass on my tv and did one lap of tape over it and charged me $79 because I have to buy whole packs of them even though only 1 was used. They also charged a $16 per hour "fuel" charge even though when I booked, he said I had to pay an hour of labor for truck and gas...so why the fuel charge? This place is a rip off, they'll say whatever to get you booked and take a deposit then they'll nickel and dime you. They'll say everywhere charges these fees but they do not, I called 5 different ones that don't rip you off. Do not do business with them, go somewhere else that has integrity

Broke our TV and the company will not return any emails so I can finish filing a claim. I wish I looked at these reviews before booking this company. Save your money this company isn't worth going with if they break your things.

*All My Sons Moving & Storage Jacksonville, FL Location* IF it were possible to award this company with zero stars, then that would be the desired rating, I selected All My Sons Moving & Storage after methodically calling around to several different moving companies in the Jacksonville, FL area. After having a video evaluation with Robert ( Estimator, All My Sons Moving & Storage) I decided to select his company to conduct the move of my possessions. Robert presented professionally and also presented his company as top tier with only the highest quality moving professionals in the business. AT NO time during my video walkthrough with Robert did he mention that ANYTHING not boxed is not moveable, I noted this and planned accordingly. After selecting All My Sons Moving & Storage for the job I was asked to put down a deposit which would not only hold the date of my move but then also go towards the final sum total due upon arrival of my possessions to the new address I would be residing in. AT NO TIME did Robert inform me that additional monies would be owed prior to the arrival of the final destination. Weeks went by and Sunday May 1st, 2022 rolled around, I received a phone call Joseph (Assistant Operations Manager, All My Sons Moving & Storage) Jospeh's phone call was to establish the final move details and to again go over the monies owed and when. AT NO time during my conversation with Jospeh did he mention that additional monies would be owed prior to the arrival of the final destination. The phone call ended with Jospeh and everything appeared to be as planned. Monday May 2nd, 2022 the official start date of the job had arrived. I received a phone call from the movers at approximately 7:48am to notify me that they were en-route and would be arriving in 35 minutes. I then received a subsequent phone call at approximately 8:17am which I thought was to notify me that the movers had arrived, but unfortunately the purpose of the phone call was to inquire about which unit number my address was to pick up and move my possessions. The operations department failed to give them the proper instructions and address. I remained on the phone with the movers until they reached the correct unit number. That was a red flag to me as it displayed company communication and organization was not to the level Robert had presented it to be. At approximately 11:04am I received a phone call from my family member who was at the address the movers were present at moving the possessions to inform me that they needed to be paid 50% of the sum total prior to leaving the 1st address and before delivery to the destination. This is NOT what was discussed between myself and Robert nor was it what was discussed between myself and Joseph, so naturally I was less than happy to hear monies were owed that were NEVER discussed. I called Robert to inquire about why the agreed upon amount due at arrival to destination was now being split between the pick up and drop off, Robert did not answer my call so I called the office and was transferred to Joseph who I just spoke with Sunday May 1st, 2022. Jospeh attempted to articulate to me that this how all of the moves are conducted, but when I confronted him he acknowledged that we did not discuss that during our first phone call just one day prior. The call ended and Jospeh contacted the movers to inform them that all monies would be owed upon arrival to the point of destination. Please see the 2nd half of this review.
