This location is horrific! Stock all over the place EXCEPT on the shelves. Store is trashed. As if that's not bad enough, the Asst. Manager is incredibly rude, and hates his/her(not sure of the pronoun) job as it is voiced for all to hear. If this is the best manager candidate available, y'all are in trouble. If FD continues to close their doors this location should be on the top of their list.

My recent visit to the Family Dollar on 8120 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32211 on March 5, 2024, left much to be desired. The staff opened the store at 8:10am, causing an unnecessary delay and wait. What ensued next was deeply concerning.
Upon opening, the manager publicly reprimanded an employee for allegedly stealing ten cents. This display of discipline in front of customers was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful to the employee involved. The manager's demeanor was notably impolite throughout the ordeal, further exacerbating the discomfort of the situation.
Adding insult to injury, the manager nonchalantly suggested that I contact the corporate office to voice my concerns, displaying a blatant disregard for accountability. It is disheartening to witness such behavior, particularly in a community where inclusivity and respect should be paramount.
While I acknowledge that mistakes happen, it is imperative for management to handle such matters with discretion and professionalism. Regardless of location or demographic, every individual deserves to be treated with dignity and fairness.
I sincerely hope that the corporate office addresses these issues promptly and takes appropriate action to ensure that such incidents are not repeated. As a valued customer, I expect nothing less than exemplary service and respect from establishments within our community.

Let’s just say this Family Dollar does not open on time which means they may need more employees who want to work. The line is Always long when you go there one person is stocking up while the other person is ringing up the customers. Yesterday it moved even slower because they had one employee ringing up that had a sling on her arm so she could only use one hand to ring up the stuff so you know that caused the line to move slower. I know it should be some type of help when the line gets at a certain point but nope all they worried about is getting the store stocked up got to do better at this Family Dollar customer service is everything.

Waited in line for 30 minutes. Just for a checkout. This is ridiculous!! Y’all need some new managers who can hire some ppl for closing shift! Everyday I come up in here and they only always have one line open. Never a second register. Homeless ppl are a problem. Begging right outside the door. This place needs an overhaul! People breaking in. And family dollar won’t replace the doors. To cheap?

It’s Monday night on Atlantic Blvd family dollar it’s 9:40 and this man is not letting anyone in die to him being tired this is a real issue being this is the only store walking distance

So how many N BOMBS can be played over an employee's radio before it is BLATANTLY offensive?How many kids have to listen to that Hood trash phrase in loud inappropriate music played in a FAMILY Dollar?How many times can the 'employees' of this location pretend to be oblivious to the discomfort of their customers?Are they SO desensitized to that word unless I SPEAK IT?!Get it together FD managers.I won't come back to that location.The Dollar General at least has enough CLASS to NOT play obviously uncensored 'hip hop' garbage for their customers.

This store was a little messy but the shelves were decently stocked and they had options for what we needed. I love that they have 1.25$ items mixed in.
