Their ability to color match is unsurpassed. No "take a number" service like the "big box" stores here. These aren't "big box" employees either, they are paint pros!

Sorry it has taken me a year to say THANK YOU! I live in Michigan. In Sept/Oct 2021, I has having problems with a contractor. I felt I was at a disadvantage. Looking for help. Saw Duvall on internet while looking for some help. My contractor would not communicate with me nor acknowledge the problem nor offer to rectify the problem and instead, when I could get him to respond to my concerns, resorted to deception and outright lies in an attempt to appease me - because I was a woman? Just asking! In any event, called Duvall for some guidance. What a nice man! Listened to my concerns and shared information with me so I felt I was no longer at a disadvantage. The contractor was somewhat taken aback by my new-found knowledge... I advised he had not met the terms of the signed contract which was all I was asking for... To make the long if it short, the contract was voided and I was issued a refund check in the full amount of my 1/2 down deposit. I subsequently found another contractor (Spring 2022) who did a terrific job. THANK YOU, DUVAL - for taking the time to assist me when there was no obvious financial benefit in it for you. I shall be forever grateful that you helped bring a happy ending to this situation.

We went to Duval Paint today (08/06) to get some interior paint for walls and doors. We walked out with not only what we needed, but also more knowledge and tidbits that John and Chris shared. John took the time to walk through the different lines and sheens, and even showed us some samples of what the paint looks like in the light, if scuffed, etc. We were there for an hour and he helped us pick out the right amounts that we needed and best bang for our buck. They really know their stuff, and they present it in a very informative way. He even walked out the 5 gallon bucket to our car! This team really treated us like family, and this local business will be our go-to for our painting needs in the future. Thank you John and Chris!
