The manager and the assistant at this location really look out for her customers and she goes all out to help her customers.. she really helped me out and I appreciate the help.. she saved me time and gas.. thx..

The store manager Barbara is rude and don't know nothing about customer service. First rule is to listen, not get mad when you make a mistake. Please get rid of her.never shopping there again.And I really wanted to put 0 but you can't .

Slightly smaller and compacted than other close locations however, they are open an hour later than the rest. Remember they still have a $1 section. Get the same oz or more and save 25 cents over Dollar tree.

I drive past the Brand New Dollar General on Blanding Blvd near 103rd st to go 2 miles to the Wilson Ave store. Blanding location is less than 30 seconds from my house but I have not shopped that location in a couple years. I did walk in the new store to check it out and the store is BIG and nice but the one thing that makes all the other stuff not matter is the staff. The Wilson store Manager is a younger gentleman and he is so kind, he always says hello and he does not act like I am bothering him if I need his help. That goes the same for all of the employees at this store, they are all very nice, The store is well stocked and clean. You can build a big very nice store but if you do not change the employees it doesn't matter. I shop almost daily at the Wilson Ave Dollar Genera& will continue to do so, but I will not spend not $1 at the new Blanding store because the employees there are rude.

Although I have noticed prices are a little higher than the bigger stores (on some merchandise) I prefer here rather there because of the staff. Maybe not family but they sure feel like it. I've never checked out without a little conversation.
