It's extremely weird getting profiled by a black cashier who's probably late 20's or older WHILE BUYING DEODORANT!!!!!! For christ sake I had on my Amazon work hoodie, what in tf can't I afford in DOLLAR GENERAL??? I probably make more than him and his manager ???

The one buy lippie the is someone that does not need to run a store .she is very smart mouth I stop going in the store . And everyone I no has stoped going she is losing the store money she was smart to me when I ask her for help she told me that she didn't have to let me buy anything from there when all I ask was how I add money on a card ....she is very rude I had my kid with me and wouldn't let me buy milk and dippers and his toy he came to get. Told me she was calling cops on me for asking her how to add money on my card for my bill

I love Dollar General for quick shopping trips & the digital coupons for household items are great. Family Dollar is my fav, but Dollar General works in a pinch. They are built across the street from each other for a reason. If one place doesn't have it, the other will! ?

I love dollar general but store #12397 on Edgewood Ave has lost me as a customer. Today I went to buy evaporated milk and condensed milk and on the shelf it said .85 and $1.35 respectively but at the checkout they charged me .95 and $1.95, which was not correct as there were customers waiting I went to another employee but my daughter stayed near the cash register and listened when the cashier said; "I don't know why they go to the other employee if I'm the manager." Well, when I return to where she tells me that she was the one who could fix the problem, I answer her; There were more clients waiting and so that you could continue serving the other clients I went to the other person (at no point did she tell me that she was the manager) when I explained what had happened she took out $2 and gave it to me I told her that it was It is impossible for that to be the amount of difference. The other employee comes and takes $3 from his pocket and puts it together with the employee's $2 and gives it to me. At no time did they apologize or put anything in the system. I told her that I wanted to be sure so I started adding and subtracting with the calculator on my phone and when she saw what I was doing she made gestures with her face and body to which another client said "Shake it off" when Add and subtract if he had charged me the extra $5 but today there is a coupon that if you spend $25 or more they will deduct $5 so he never deducted that $5 from me and I put in my phone number. I find that to work with the public and clients you must have a different type of attitude. I am a loyal buyer of this store, now I will go to another one even if I have to drive a little further.

The workers in this store are top tier! Today, I went to purchase a few cases of water and was helped by two of the gentlemen in the store. They noticed I was having trouble lifting(bad back from a car accident) and stepped in to lift them. Not only did they lift them they helped assist me in putting it into the car. Very helpful, courteous, and polite.Shout out to them and the women that work there as well. The ladies always keep smiling and greet you in kindness,even when you can tell they're having a rough day.

I totally am in love with Dollar General you can find almost anything lol from gardening tools to Food and snacks and pet food . Very reasonable prices. Makeup to kids toys.

I have a confession and I'm not proud to admit this .. I've judged and have been a snob. Growing up, I thought any dollar store was good for miscellaneous items that was of lower quality and all things off brand. Forgive me, again, I'm embarrassed by this way of thinking. Dollar General has come in clutch for me for awhile now. I've come to realize, when you're stuck in a bind and need something quick and inexpensive, this is the place to go. Snacks, laundry detergent, trash bags, all things I've needed at a moments notice. I had no idea they had a healthy snack section, huge perk for me! A believer?! Just like I was prior to the Jaguars 2021 season .. sign me up! Speaking of signing up, download their app and sign up for digital coupons, deals and DG pickup. DG pickup allows you to shop in app and pick up in-store. Due to COVID guidelines, you're required to wear a mask entering the store. No longer will I act uncouth, I'm a valued customer!
