I recently purchased a new 2023 Chevrolet Z71 Bison. It cost over $80,000 and I mention that because you would think on the second day of ownership and having multiple problems with the truck they would be concerned. I called the salesman, but he was worthless after we closed the deal and after taking possession of my new truck. He did say a mgr would be calling. He never did call! He was even too busy to show me all the options on the truck the night I made the purchase of my truck because he had a football game to be at that night. When I went to the service center, they told me I needed someone to pick me up but since I had only had the truck for two days I assumed they would provide me with a ride. I must of called the service line 10 times and would always get voicemail saying they were bzy and to leave a message. Not once did I ever get a call back. After many weeks I finally got an appointment to leave the truck. They have had my truck for three days with zero updates and every time I called service it would again go to voice mail. I finally got thru to a service adviser and she said that she couldn't find me in the system but would call me back asap. She never called me back so I drove 45 minutes back to the dealership and they left me to wait 25 minutes in the lobby. No one came back so I went to the sales mgr. He promised he would find out what was going on and as of 4.00 pm today I haven't heard from anyone. My suggestion is to stay away from this dealership and go make your purchase at another dealership. I have never seen a dealership in such disarray and un-organized. My last three trucks were GMC's and not once did I ever have a reason to take the truck in for service. This purchase has been a nightmare.

Absolute worst place to work for. Gave them 3.5 years of my life working over time, working 12-15 hrs some times even 18 hrs to makes there promised times made. It is absolutely one of the least organized places to work. As a technician you a reminder daily that you are nothing to the company except bitch hands. The service managers are liars and only look out for them selves. Overall one of the worst experiences I've ever had working at a place. There moto should be " it isn't what you have done for me last week that matters, only what are you going to do for me today" I started devolving mental health issues while working here. The management staff here does not care about a single employee or what they are going through. Firing an employee a week before Christmas and two days before his wife's birthday should tell you enough of this company. Stay awake from Mike hooper and Brad Schubert as managers. Got my trailblazer 2023 there and the car has an unfixable glitch on the screen software ( GM has not solved the problem yet). I was told that the package that comes with( tinted windows ) was already on and it was not. GM cannot do anything , and offered me a 1000 points rewards that I cannot upload into my account.1st and last GM i will ever buy.

I'm writing to express our deep disappointment with our recent car purchase at Coggin Chevrolet, Jacksonville. What we hoped would be a positive experience turned out to be quite the opposite due to miscommunications and confrontational behavior from their management. Our salesperson, Trestan Jewell, was exceptional, but our interactions with your management were far from satisfactory. Firstly, we were asked to sign incomplete forms and to trust that the form would be completed correctly in a few days, trust them. The sales agreement was prepared incorrectly. Joey Spanbauer, Finance Director, insisted we sign without following our Loan officer instruction. This alarmed us. Joey Spanbauer appeared irritated that he had to fix the forms. Most significantly, the general sales manager, Christos Rodis's dismissive response to our concerns left us feeling unimportant. Labelling our valid worries as "difficult" and implying that the dealership had more important deals undermined our trust. Lastly, Christos Rodis's query about a negative Google review was unsettling. His offer to take the car back, along with our money, felt more like a threat than a resolution. Customer service should be the bedrock of dealerships. Unfortunately, our experience at Coggin Chevrolet fell far short of expectations.

Avoid this place at all cost. If I could give no stars I would. My wife went in for a oil change and was charged $94 when there website clearly states $49. They blamed her for not stating the price, and said she was charged $94 because she didn't ask for it to be $49. When we asked originally what the price would be it was not told to us. Very sus. Then we give it a week plus after being told it would be adjusted, now every time we call back the service department never answers, the manger is busy, or some other excuse.

On 2/14/23 I went for regular maintenance on my wife's SUV and to diagnose a bumping sound. Was informed that the sound was a broken motor mount. "M" told me that they would verify with my extended warranty if the service was covered and would need to order the part as it was not in stock. Also promised to call me the next day. 2 weeks go by without contacting me so I call and leave "M" a message following up on whether or not they called to validate coverage (or not) etc. and wasn't called back. Called again 2 weeks after that and left a message in the service department voicemail and haven't received a call back. By my count that's 3 strikes, prompting me to write this review. Seems to me that this team doesn't have their act together. I have friends that work in the industry, so I understand that there are many things that are outside the control of the service advisor, but customer service isn't one of them. It's up to the advisor to make this a good experience for me or not, and it hasn't. I'll need to take my business elsewhere.Update:I subsequently contacted the general manager and he and his team finally took care of the repair. That process shouldn’t have been necessary, but I commend them on wanting to make things right. I amended the review from the original 1 star to 3 stars because our vehicle was eventually repaired.

I had the BEST experience at Coggin Chevrolet! Omar H. Was fabulous, as he personally helped me. Every other employee was respectful, kind, and professional as well! They honored a cheaper online price, despite it being marked higher on the lot. I am a teacher and they worked to get me better interest rates and a cheaper payment overall. Very flexible and accommodating without hovering over me, as I have felt at other car dealerships. This is my third car and I will definitely come back to Coggin Chevrolet in the future!

Had a great experience working with Omar H. At Coggin today. I'm someone who generally hates the art of haggling, and the nature of dealerships. However, Omar brought a friendly, non-overwhelming face to the Coggin dealership. I'm beyond grateful to have been able to work with him on buying my car. Walked in the dealership with no appointment and walked out within 1 hour, owning my car! Very efficient and easy. 10/10, I will be back in the future.

Appointment was at 940 came in early, and spent over 3 hours in the service department for an oil change and a diagnose for a light indicator. Should have walked out when I interacted with the person at the counter. He gave the price for just an oil change and when I asked about the diagnosis test he huffed and rolled his eyes. A lady comes in at 10 and they took her car back before my car and I found out that she was a random last minute call. I asked for an update and the advisor knew nothing I even asked have they started my oil change after 2 hours there. After I tell the advisor to cancel the diagnosis is when he comes back with an error code, think they just did it to charge me the crazy fee. He tell me that stuff take time which I get but 3 hours is a little crazy. Do yourself a favor stay away for the service department Just upset I wasted my whole day

I bought my car here and have a wonderful experience in 2018. The service is a complete different animal. Never was able to get my oil change in less than 3 hours. Always schedule, get on time, sit down and wait. Ask one hour, same lamé excuses, two hours, more excuses, three hours, maybe. They are always “busy” but clients who came after you get in and out before you. I’m talking about oil change only with schedule time. Not a major service (I did not need a major service yet). It’s a shame because I love my truck and the sale was smooth. But I do not recommend their service department at all. Also the basic oil change is $110, way more than most places. Looking for Chevy dealership as new in the area. Made appt online for oil change and tire rotation on my Tahoe, got appt same day, called immediately afterwards to ensure it could be completed as it was Sat afternoon and I need Tahoe back with no hiccups...as I had upcoming travel. Service manager Jacob was friendly helpful, assured me no issues. And he was correct. I dropped it off, ran errands, and picked it back up a few hours later. Zero "up-sell"...did what was asked and even knocked out a recall. Will continue to use them and looking forward to their brand new service center being finished!Services: Tires

****TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT**** Before I dropped my car off I called and spoke with Melanie and explained that my vehicle had stopped and is not moving and I believe it is transmission but not sure and it needed to be towed. She spoke with the tech and he said yes have the car towed they would be able to fix it. Car was dropped off & Mon 3/20 I called Tues. 3/21(no status) then Wednesday 3/22 only to find Melanie was on vacation and no one new anything about the car, placed on hold then was assured the car would be looked at that day. Called back same day and was told it was the gear shifter cable and they would know more the next day and assured me a call back. Called 3/23 and was told car had not been looked at and assured me the car would be looked at the next day. Came to the dealership on 3/23 evening to take pictures, only to find the car had not been looked at & it was sitting in the parking lot. Called Friday 3/24 was put on hold finally called the dealership they put me through to the service area. I explained to the guy and he then told me they could not fix my car and I would need to have it picked up and they cant move it anyway. 3/27 Had the car towed to another dealership which asked me to come in 24hrs later so they could show me the gear shifter cable which I took pictures of that and it was in tact and nothing was wrong with it...smh....Turns out it was the transmission which my warranty covers. I will never ever go back here to buy a car or get it serviced The only reason this did not make the news is because of my job!!!!! Maybe I should've read the reviews before taking my car here! They'll probably give a generic response to this message like all the rest.

Hello there, I didnt buy a vehicle this time up here, but sales manager name Christos and Michael treat me really good, besides Marquis and 2 other sales persons that really helps to go over my questions about a specifically vehicle that I was looking for. But, juts because I didnt buy it I can't recommend right? I like the way I got treat there and yes I recommend you check it out. The concerned that I have it for now is the construction that they are doing up there, the vehicles got dusty way too fast, but other than that is good. Good luck.
