While this veterinarian clinic is conveniently located to the beaches and Town Center, the convenience is not worth being treated poorly and rudely. The front office is so flippant with their answers and really take the customers/patients for granted. There is no consistency with hours or friendliness.
IF. .. You want a Vet to briefly examine your pet – this is the place for you.
IF.. You want a Vet that is more concerned with selling you on products, extensive tests and scans, and has higher prices than other clinics—this is the vet for you.
IF—You want a Vet that has no bedside manner, talks down to you, is arrogant and condescending.. this is the vet for you.
I personally feel my pets deserve better treatment and care. The amount of money that I spent at this facility is astronomical. I and my animals deserved better.

Eventually pets can be considered as part of the family and everyone wants the best care for family. As a owner of 5 pets (2 cats and 3 dogs) Im impressed with the place. Few years ago went to this one place and told us one of my dogs would need surgery for something minor that would cost a lot. Went to others to get an opinion surgery was not needed. The place provides great service to the customers and especially to the pets. Overall this place has done a lot and a exceptional job at what they do.

Dr Don is the best! My cat, Onion had been to 2 other vets and they said he wasn’t having any issues. Dr. Don diagnosed him with an upper respiratory infection. They referred me to a compound pharmacy because he is awful about taking pills. This will be our new family vet. They are the MOST affordable and attentive vet I have been to. I have had my cats seen by 4 vets. This by far is the best one. It is clean and welcoming. The staff is kind and helpful. I am happy to have found them and plan to bring my other cats in. Also- their resident kitty is a cute sweetie! Exam was $80-something and the follow up was $30 something

Brought in my Senior Cat for a routine check up and injured paw his check up was less than 2 minutes all Dr.Cook had to say was “keep an eye on it” the staff was overall very nice but DR.cook isn’t if you are a true animal lover I would not bring my pet here.

I’ve been going to Butler Animal clinic for several years now. They are really good about getting you in on a timely manner, as well as having friendly staff.Not a fan of Dr. Cook though. He talks down to you and he is always pushing you for that extra dollar, prescribing food that he’s incentivized to sell that never seems to help, and recently stating that my dogs are too aggressive to give treatment for. I am not sure if there was a bad experience where someone got bit or something, but in my last visit my dog made a whimpering noise and was a little squirmy, but he showed no teeth, no growl, and dr. Cook took that as my dog being too aggressive to put some ointment in his ear?? He said he needed to sedate him. It’s always some sort of plot to get extra money. The one time he had a little growth on him, and they said they would remove it for $800. It literally fell off two weeks later. .You cannot walk out of here for less than $200. Not even for routine checkups, he will try to do some sort of test on your pet that costs you.I do not recommend. Enough was finally enough for me, I made the switch to another vet.

We originally took our yorkie here just for a check-up and shots when we first got him, but now I couldn't imagine taking my boy anywhere else. The entire staff is so friendly, listens to our concerns, and loves our pup as if he was their own. I highly recommend Butler Animal Clinic!
